Hey Mike, thanks for the advise. I love trolling with spinners. I just love the fight feel of a spinner when you're leaning way back and have that rod bent big time. I'm looking at getting a couple of heavy rod and spinner combo's just for trolling. What's heaviest star rod you would recommend for the new Penn Authority 8500 spinners. Thanks in advance .

im using a 12-20lb star rod with a 4500 bg for my small lure rod like a buck tail
