Hi thanks for your videos!!
Could you do a vid about your days during non busy season?
Would you say during non busy season is a normal 40hrs with no Sat?
Thank you!
Yea I can definitely do that!
Also yes, I would say regular non-busy season weeks are 40 hours for a first year and second year associate. Rarely do I break 40 when on non-busy season time
Hi. I would just like to know why auditing banks takes a lot more work compared to other industries? i will be starting as audit associate under a cluster which audit financial services industry and I kinda felt nervous
Honestly, I am not super sure as to why at the moment.
I just know that my colleagues and friends who work in financial services are usually working longer and more.
I think some people in financial services work on multiple clients at once. I know that is something I don’t do
Hello,
Thank you for all your videos.
I have a request if you can please make a video on as how a tax professional can apply for a tax consultant/ tax accountant job online for USA/ Canada from other part of the world (India). Provided if someone has an experience of big4 tax with a valid ptin and also if planning for an enrolled agent exam to appear.
I would appreciate any support and thank you in advance for any advice that you can offer.
Thanks,
Amit
Hey Amit! Thanks for commenting! I’ll see what I can do and start doing some research for a video. In the mean time, could you help explain to me what an agent exam is? I am assuming an agent exam is like the CPA exam in American, except it’s for India accountants?

PTIN - preparer Tax Identification Number . The PTIN is an eight-digit number preceded by the letter P that is used in place of the paid preparer's SSN on any federal tax return or claim for refund. All enrolled agents must also have a PTIN.
Enrolled Agent - An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by either passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns, or through experience as a former IRS employee.
Awesome, thanks! Are you looking to move to North America for a tax job, or are you trying to get a job in North America while staying in India. It’s a funny question, but just trying to understand, so I can research properly

First @ Thanks for responding and yes I am planning to take my career to next level.
I have been working as a tax professional and have an experience of 6 years. 3years with Deloitte , 1.5 years with PWC and currently working with KPMG.
I am preparing my self to land in North America with an offer letter from any big4 and yes I want to learn and grow, both personally as well as professionally.
Of course! But nice, it sounds like you got some good experience behind you and your already in the Big4. Without looking anything up, I know the Big4 firms does rotations into different countries. Although the rotations are limited, and only last for a few years, it would get you into North America for a while. Perhaps, you could leverage that into moving to the North America side of KPMG or another Big4 permanently?
I will never understand people who are so entitled to yell at others who are doing a mandatory job.
busy season audit is June-march? 😱 did you mean to say Jan?
@@chrisouch6517 I hope so! June-March busy season sounds like Dark Souls level hell
Yea don’t worry, no one should be doing that. That would be crazy. If you are, speak up because that is just weird
Complete BS
starting as an audit associate in 2 weeks and this sounds absolutely dreadful... 60-80 hours a week? nuts.
We’ll at least the busy season only last between Jan-Apr (usually) for the first two years. Out of the 16 weeks of a typical busy season, I would say I would do a third or quarter of it in that 60-80 hour week threshold
