These are beautiful. ❤ Love how the holographic glitter changes with different clay color. Amazing!
Thank you so much. I was trying to figure out how to apply glitter. Now I do!!!
Super helpful and your gave all the steps!!!
So glad you found it helpful! ❤️
Omg that reminds me I need to make these I bought the glitter and it is awesome!!!
Love this video! It was really calming too. Thank u!
That’s so kind of you! Thank you for watching. ❤️
That's so pretty! I always wondered what would happen if i mixed glitter with my clay, but I'm too afraid of ruining materials to test much lol.
Thank you!! And I completely understand that! Especially with the clay shortage.... I’m all about having as little waste as possible.
Gorgeous! I love them!
Thank you so much! ❤️
Very pretty . I loved the video.
Thank you so much!
C'est vraiment magnifique j'adore félicitations 👍👏👏👏❤❤❤❤
They are beauitful!
Thank you! ❤️
Would this method work if I were handling something? I want to experiment with making my own crochet hook handles for my upcoming birthday in November and this seems like it would be such a fun addition to the handles.
I would think so, as long as you seal the glitter so it doesn’t transfer. Also, that sounds like a great idea!
So pretty
For the glaze, would I paint it after baking and then let it dry normally? Also, what color clay would you recommend to do for the earring itself so the glitter glaze shows better? White or translucent? Thanks so much :) I loved the video!
Thank you so much for watching! The glaze is applied after baking your earrings. And as far as color goes, I’ve used lots of colors. With a translucent clay, it ends up looking kind of like an opal to me. It’s gorgeous! I would say maybe test small little pieces of each color you want to try, to see which you prefer.
Hi! That turned out so so pretty!!! Can you kindly link the products used?
Thank you! All of the materials I used, are listed in the description. Thank you for watching! 😊
It’s lovely! Thank you 🤗🤗 do you think it’s possible to put resin on them?
Absolutely! I’ve sealed earrings with resin many times. The end result is always beautiful!
Lindos! Parabéns .
Do you poke the holes before or after baking :,)
I drill them after they’re baked ☺️
Do you ever have issues with the glaze cracking when you insert the jump rings after ? I just started experimenting with it and was kind of worried about that
I had also tried it on some black clay and it did end up drying milky in some parts so I’m assuming I went too thick 😩
I’ve never had an issue with cracking… but yes, it can be milky if it’s too thick. UV resin is also beautiful. Of course there’s trial and error with any of it. I wish CZcams let you guys post photo comments. I would love to see your pieces. ❤️
When do you sand? After glaze?
I sand before I add the glaze.
You don’t glitter the back sides?
I don’t, but that’s just a preference
How do you avoid bubbles??
The type of clay you use, plays a big part. Softer clay, like Sculpey lll is nearly impossible to avoid bubbles.
Technically that's holographic not iridescent but cool video!
