Same with kiss the goat. It's mostly because TF is a baritone, and some of the songs really explore his tenor range, so the end of his scale. For it to sound better, they play lower live.

It's originally in E standard, but live everything is in D standard. Wayyy easier on the vocals cords.

@@theyeetmeister4019 Most Ghost songs are written in D Standard, however Mary on a Cross & Kiss the Go-Goat were written in Eb Standard, just for them to stick out more and have that 60's/70's feel to them. Whenever they play live, rather than playing the half step up, they just play in D Standard.
