- Bloodbath is Geometry Dash's most important level. What if we delete it from the game? What happens to the history of Geometry Dash?
This video is very hypothetical, so predicting events is hard. This is my best guess at re-writing 8 years of history. Hope you enjoy!

Avernus might not be verified, because Zoink's verification of Acheron really boosted him to the top. So Avernus might have been an abandoned project or simply not top 1

Its incredible how crucial can a single lvl be. I renember entering GD my first time and trying the lvl without knowing it was the current hardest, i felt so frustrated, and since then, i always had beating bloodbath as a dream, and promised myself not leaving GD until i completed it. Now, with a 97%, i am so close to that child dream...

if bloodbath didnt exist, there would be another level that would revolutionize the game, and there would be different history, different levels in the top 50
it’s interesting seeing this for extremely influential levels such as bloodbath, which pretty much put most of the focus on making harder levels
It’s honestly crazy to see of how this single level could affect the entire game as a whole. Many really difficult and well known levels would’ve either not been started, and some top players would’ve probably not got into the spotlight.
Extreme demons as we know them wouldn't be the same, the demonlist wouldn't be as well known as it is today, Riot would be known as the 2nd best player to Cyclic, etc. I don't like this alternative universe.

I think that Tartarus may have existed as Silent Akbar since the project was initially started before Bloodbath even existed, providing the players working on it pulled through with it, the level could have been verified, but potentially nerfed & a bit later than Bloodbath was
Somethings i think would have also changed:
-zodiac wouldnt have benn as hated as it was, i still renember how everybody felt bad about the lvl because it dethroned a lvl as loved as bloodlust (not to say that being hacked made things worse)
-avernus would have been a nive lvl. Because in this timeline tartarus and SWI never existed, the golden is determined to be the one to take the throne for more than one year. As the goldens legacy is bigger, probably the original decorators never discontinued the project, making an incredible and consistent deco. Also, because zoink never rose, the lvl would have been balanced
-APTeam never existed: their most relevant projects (APT, SWI, CoCy) never existed (and sadly, we arent getting news of Blood Swamps), and if the team existed, it would be under another name (its literally named after Apocalyptic Trilogy)
I think straight fly might've also been much less popular in extreme demons since bloodbath wouldn't have been there to push the gimmick. I think top demons would've been more timing based or wave based as opposed to ship based.
Think again when ice carbon diablo x is released its has so many straight fly and weird timings
as influencial this level is, if it didn't exist then I think there would be a different "bloodbath" in its place. maybe something another cataclysm victor would have made or just someone who we don't know about.

It quite bizarre knowing how much power and inspiration bloodbath truly holds quite literally Carried the game on its shoulders and we all thank riot for his contributions and inspiration he has given us I was a geometry dash fan since cataclysm but still bloodbath inspired me to push my limits I dropped the game years ago but recently picked back up and I’m gonna try to beat a lot of levels but I digress thank you riot and all hail bloodbath the level that created years of history without us even knowing
Cyclic might not have confessed as sonic wave, which was made to dethrone bb didn’t come out. Therefore cyclic could’ve still hacked everything to this day
Riot would have made something else in Bloodbath's place regardless. Instead of a successor to Cataclysm, he would most likely build a successor to his other major achievement: Ice Carbon Diablo X. He still would've been the #1 player as 2.0 came around, which meant that Cyclic would be pressured to rival this hypothetical ICDX sequel and update Sonic Wave to its dark blue version.
You also failed to mention Cyclic's other major project at the time: The Hell Zone. I don't think Bloodbath's erasure would affect it that much, as the original level would still be under Cyclic's radar.
Bloodbath was one of the first well known hell themed levels, and there may be less of them today if Bloodbath was never created
I don’t doubt there would be less levels, and way less players along with that. 2.2 would also likely come out sooner from RobTop being pressured by the game dying quicker.
You should do Nine Circles one time, since it's one of the most influential levels of gd.

I’d go as far as to say that levels like slaughterhouse might not exist as they were made to dethrone Tartarus
Also, with that, no Injury, Kratos or The Human Limit (include Vivisect and Rare)
I think Apocalyptic Trilogy would exist because Aftermath was named "Afterclysm" before.
Someone would fill between Cataclysm and Aftermath with another Cataclysm remake.
Or Aftermath uses Bloodbath's music part and becomes another "Bloodbath" in a parallel universe
Ouroboros also wouldn’t exist since it was originally planned to be a Yatagarasu sequel, this would cause Kyrie Eleison to also not exist

I am very confident i would have quit this game if it werent for bloodbath. I only did a level that hard because a streamer (now friemd of mine) was jumping from a hard demon to bloodbath. It was only after i beat bloodbath that i had confidence to do other levels and the motivation to keep playing.

i dont even think that arcturus or slaughterhouse would exist, (or at least not in their current state) because bloodbath was the first level to really start the oversaturation of red hell levels. cataclysm and the hell factory wouldve obviously influenced a lot of levels, but i dont think they would've done nearly as much impact to the popularity of hell style that bloodbath caused
Also, without slaughterhouse, you might also lose Injury (Include Mighty Step)
Without Arcturus, you might also lose Antares, Behemoth, and Viridian
Without both of these levels, you might not see Vivisect, Rare, and some top 1's that requires it

8:45 Its actually unlikely that Artificial Ascent would exist without Bloodbath, because Anubis said that it was inspired by Cataclysm. But because of its many sequels such as bloodbath and aftermath, which dont exist in this scenario. Also, avernus probably wouldnt be top 1 because Zoink wouldnt have his skill boost.
I really don't understand your reasoning here, cataclysm would still be hugely significant if bloodbath didn't exist if that's the point you are trying to make.

5:15 Dolphy never ended up getting the prizes and the shoutout. i know Riot's channel was terminated at that time and Dolphy was accused of hacking, but even after Dolphy proved his legitimacy, Riot still never gave the prizes and the shoutout

It's kinda crazy how influential this level was, to the point that it's effect on the community can still be felt 8 years later.
Imagine if we live in one of these timelines where a level simply didn't exist for us and that somehow negatively effected our timeline compared to the other with the level present in the game.

You might know Silent Helheim and Nekravol can't be created without some levels (Nekravol has the Doom Eternal song, like Aeternus, so without Aeternus, they lose Nekravol)

If there was no bloodbath riot would take on another level around equal to bloodbath difficulty. I doubt anything would change aside from that

What if mefewe verified sonic wave instead of getting 98%? (His version is buffed that’s why I feel this would make the game different)
I’m guessing the game overall would be a bit harder since most levels on the top of the list back when sw was top 1 were made to rival sonic wave. Other levels were made to rival levels that topped it and the cycle continued. Acheron would probably be much harder
Without riot playing gd bloodbath,bloodlust,tartarus,acheron,aerturus and enternal would exits thats so much impact made on the gd community.
No bloodbath, No Top 1 (because Acheron (current top 1) can't be existed without it, also no aftermath, no Apocalyptic Trilogy (upcoming top 1) because The Apocalyptic Trilogy requires Aftermath which requires Bloodbath)

Apteam as a whole would probably not exist as it was created for the apocalyptic trilogy
And also the level, Mighty Step, will not exist because it has the Apocalyptic Trilogy monster, and also inspired by Slaughterhouse
Bloodbath also brought the higher fps discovery and raised the skill ceiling even higher.

Without bloodbath i wouldnt play gd probably. It Was a big goal for me to beat bloodbath, what I did in 2020. Without this goal i wouldnt have 3100h in this game today soo thanks for bloodbath 😊
