the art of statecraft is not easy. Remember, the long entrenched forces of French colonization will destroy him if given time. If u can’t take drastic action and remove/replace key civil servants (who have been living off the French handouts) within the magical honeymoon period, then he will go the same way as Ruto… join them or leave!!! Control the interior ministry …. The minister & head of bureaucracy MUST ur trusted man. These 2 must make downward changes quickly, before the well entrenched try to control u. Shake up and bring in loyalists and tough “DOERS”. Not talkers. Set goals for them …. 3 months, six months. Change if not delivering.
Control the finance Ministry … do the same …. Mange ur projects that are not grandiose …. Short time lines, high impact, direct benefit to ordinary citizens. Key appointments to change loss making or corruption riddled state organs and enterprises …. Which are draining the economy and benefitting France more.
