Apple Blueberry Cake

This recipe is taken from the book Primrose Bakery Cookbook, a famous bakery in the UK. The apple blueberry cake is also, sold at the bakery, so I thought let's make it together. It was my first time making this cake, and I really liked it as an after-dinner dessert. Hope you enjoy it too
A few things to note
*The recipe is lightly sweet, not overly sugary as most bakery cakes
* You can also mix all the cake ingredients in a food processor (leave apples and blueberries for topping), then proceed as shown in the video
*Please keep an eye on the oven after 30 minutes of baking. Depending on the oven your cake might be done sooner. Cover the cake pan with a foil sheet if your batter is still raw but the apples are turning brown quickly.

Here's the recipe
Apple Blueberry Cake
125 g chilled butter diced
225 g flour
Baking powder 2 teaspoons
175 g caster sugar
2 large eggs lightly beaten
2-3 tbsp milk
2 large eating apples peeled, cored and thinly sliced
125 g blueberries
2 tbsp apricot jam
Method
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Combine all the ingredients except the applesxand blueberries in a bowl or food processor. Pour half the batter in a greased 9 inch loaf pan. Top with half of sliced apples and blueberries. Top with the remaining cake batter and repeat with the fruit as shown in video. Bake for about 45 to 50 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center of cake comes out clean. Brush the cake with some melted apricot jam. Enjoy
