So cool that you got the action pilot with the jump gear! I've had an original and a repro for a long time and they are proudly displayed in my collection. I am fortunate to have an extensive 1964 - 1970 Gi Joe collection including all the Adventure Team figures. That is where my heart lies too. I grew up in the 1960s playing with these and many other vintage toys from that Era. Its so great to see the genuine excitement on your face mirroring my own when I go through my collection. The memories are of simpler times and great toys!

You’ve got a generous friend there in Tony B, great to see collectors thinking about one another. And Tony....your reaction, was priceless...a true collector excited about the gift/find👍👍👍...something we all look to experience in our hunt for items for the collection.
I’m always thankful for those I buy from in the wild and I always thank them even if they’re not collectors themselves. My era was Gi Joe Adventure team but I’ve expanded my collection as well...the painted heads were awesome and I remember playing w older kids who had them. The pilot was in fact my fav! Great catalog and other goodies he sent, purely from the heart.
Great Videos (Analog Tony)....thanks for sharing and great Pilot Joe fig!! And I want to also thank you for your hard work on content. Reading through some of the comments here is also very heartwarming...tons of great collectors here. Now if we can only meet up at shows again in would be a better world. Very Kind Regards. Pat

I actually had to watch again....just to see your reaction Tony....Heartwarming!! It gives me hope for humanity when I see stuff like this. It’s not about money, it’s not about winning or greed...just pure collecting joy. I’m sure Tony B was delighted with your reaction too. I sure hope someday I get the opportunity to meet the two of you Joe/Action Man Collectors... someday. You’re both first class in my book!

That is an amazing donation! I stumbled upon your channel about a week ago. I love your three part series on Action Man! The video on GI Joe as well! I'm in the states so I grew up with GI Joe and I wish I had the Joes now that I had back in the day and by that I mean 1964. It was great fun! I'm not sure how but I've just started collecting some Joes. Thanks for all the work and time you put into your collections and videos!

So awesome 👍🏾👍🏾 when I was a kid in New Zealand I had a adventure man figure, it was cheaper version of action man, my friends had action man with painted hair was so awesome because he had also different outfit's and gear, then my other friend had the English action man because they moved from there, plus the flocked hair one's they where so cool to me back then, other kids brought them to school I didn't get action man till later and big Jim was the other figure that kids had and Steve Austen

Just so you know, in case you don't, is that radio was part of the modern GI Joe line. It came on the 442nd Nisei soldier and again in one of the accessory packs/mission gear "D-Day Communications." It's a rather well done model representation of the US portable radio set, the SCR-300, the original "walkie-talkie."

Nice to see you so gob-smacked. I feel like that when I find stuff from my childhood. Getting rarer and rarer for me though.
I remember my brother had at least 2 of the original hard handed no flock haired versions. No idea which they were though. As I was only about 6.

Another great video, Tony. Your enthusiasm and joy is so sincere and charming - feels like I'm right there with you.
Love the Neal Adams cover-art Batman-T from '72!
I know your first love is and always will be 12" Action Man but do you like any of the original 12" Kenner/Palitoy Star Wars figures (since they are the same, larger, scale)?
