Kenny, In the show, the age doesn’t really matter too much in progression/regression. No matter what age you are, you will always regress when you hit 10 years of MLB SERVICE. Even if they guy is 25 with A potential, he can be a stud up until he is 35! (If you call him up as soon as you get him) It’s not like NBA.

Sometimes you can get lucky with players.
When the commentators say numbers during a double play, it refers to the numbers assigned to the position on the field.
1 = Pitcher
2 = Catcher
3 = First Base
4 = Second Base
5 = Third Base
6 = Shortstop
7 = Left Field
8 = Center Field
9 = Right Field
So for example, a 4-6-3 double play is when the groundball is recovered by the second baseman, thrown to the shortstop at second base for the first out, and then thrown to the first baseman for the double play.
what if the 2nd baseman steps on the bag and then throws to first? would it be a 4-3 double play?

all that makes sense but why is shortstop 6 and not 5? i would expect it to go from right to left in the infield and the outfield being left to right so the 3rd and ss being switched

kenny, diego castillo should be a setup man. I believe he is the highest overall RP on your team and i've used him before in franchise, he literally puts up a 1.50 ERA every time I have him. maybe even put him as ur closer, but ik u like tyler wells a lot so u should make him the setup man.
btw, if you dont know what it means to be a setup it means the game will put you in in high leverage positions like tie games, etc. so if he stays as a MRP he'll be put in like the 5th inning in a 5-0 game but if you put him in SU he'd be pitching like the 7th or 8th in a close game. hope this helps!

You should bring up that 44 overall A potential to Double A, it can’t progress in Single A and if you bring him up he will progress majorly, it’s baseball not basketball you can be 30 and still going up. Like Jose Ramirez

Hey Kenny. When someone says a 4-6-3 double play. That means the second baseman threw the ball to the shortstop, who then threw it to first base.

@@sintalento2627 yeah the mariners are probably the number 1 team in baseball history with no run support with great pitching, or the opposite. Pitching staff will get really hot as bats get cold and vis versa

The numbers are their positions:
Pitcher - 1
Catcher - 2
First base - 3
Second base - 4
Third base - 5
Shortstop - 6
Left field - 7
Centerfield - 8
Right field - 9
It’s just an alternative top down way of numbering their positions. So a shortstop takes a grounder (6), throws to seconds (4), then to first (3) makes it a 6-4-3 double play.

I think that trade ain’t bad but I wouldn’t give up Gunnar I would use him on a different trade if you are gonna trade him and you do have Tyler wells but a trade that could work is flipping Tyler wells for like Jhoan Duran he throws heat and young he could be the closer for the rest of the series

A player lock episode would be awesome, you learn more about your players and by playing with them (and doing well) you can increase their attribute progression
I think you could've literally overridden the trade by switching the franchise settings to override, do the trade back, then turn it back off
to explain the numbers, like a 6-4-3 and all that, Pitcher is 1, Catcher 2, 1B is 3, 2B is 4, 3B is 5, SS is 6, and then outfield are 7 8 and 9

I think you shouldnt have your roster management on auto, thats why they change your lineups and send people up and down without you knowing. If you want consistent lineups and rotations, put some of the settings on manual
Idk what type of videos you plan on doing with MLB the show but something I would love to see you do is like player career sims you can download a lot of players from the players vault like Barry bonds etc

what setting does Kenny use for his catcher? when i play franchise my catcher throws to 2nd base for a steal and it's the same throw as an out fielding with the button accuracy

You should trade for someone like Nick Solak. A right handed outfielder who can hit lefties because Dodson isn't very good against them, and the majority of your games will be against righties anyways

You were close lol. 4-6-3 double play. Basically the pitcher is one, catcher two. Then forst base is third, then it goes up by one going left. Except it skips shortstop. So third is five,, short 6. Then from left to right field its 7-9

when something happens to a player for one of your minor league teams and you get the pop up to auto fix the lineups if you do 'auto fix all' like you have been doing it autofixes every lineup from across all your teams not just the team that had someone go down... that's why your lineup keeps getting messed with
