- This is a big nerf on the live server. The Hiruko and Ochokochi have been a great combination in the game, for months now. And they have been much easier to obtain in the recent months for most players. And Pixonic just announced this big nerf that is on the live server. The durability extenders and the Hiruko are getting nerfed and its going to effect the Ochokochi and tank robots with the mothership. Massive Hiruko Tank Nerf ⚡️

It builds up like crazy when paired with adv repair and a trixie hope pilot.
That drone is what makes Ocho awesome.
The cat pilot gives it 25 defence points everytimenu repair
Ofc it going to nerf ,Just like the kestrel drone when everyone started to get them,the entire function been changed(kestrel I mean)
It still functions the same but it’s toned down and 240k health at max is still a lot.

13:40 If someone does not have meta weapons or maxed equipment like you say, chances are they also don't have a couple million powercells like most battle rec accounts/heavy spenders do. Even with this change, if you still plan to use on Hiruko for extending your durability, you're going to burn through powercells very fast. Even with the cheapest use module, it's still over a hundred power cells to get the full benefit of 8 stacks/240000 durability. Per battle, for one robot.
Hiruko is still going to be very good for its other purposes, such as the passive 10% durability increase active indefinitely and the built in weapon which honestly isn't terrible for a drone.

@@ii_dynasty The Active module use in the time-stamp I gave does NOT take power-cells away from his bank located in the upper right. when using an active module you use power-cells immediately, so when he used the advanced repair in my timestamp AND in multiple other parts of the video, he does not use up power-cells... There is NO way currently in the game to remove the cost of active modules, there is a way to decrease the cost but never totally remove it.

It’s not based off the robot’s ability but by the active module ( healing etc )
The hiruko drone worked with all robots even revived old robot turning them into tanks giving 30k hp(from the 3 ability) and 30% damage boost (from the 4 ability) for 5 seconds because of the corrosion damage every time you trigger an active model and now its nerfed
240k extra hp will still help a TON for certain robots. It can turn Crisis from like a low hp robot into a robot that's guaranteed to have over 240k hp, which can help it survive much longer.

Shai would be great! Run with a last stand as well, so you have 2. That will give you some survivability.

I used that drone with mender and ultimate invader it does increase hp got the invader to 1m hp.
You should try this build blight and hazard ochokochi I use this build it helps me get away from the people who have short range weapons and performs very well in champion league
So is Ocho no longer viable for higher leagues or is it a nerf that won’t make it no longer viable.
Has anyone notice that the ochokochis ability animation is bugged?. The animation would show when u first use the ability but after the next ability activation it won't.
Not bugged that was part of its first nerf on the ochokochi he only rampaged once and once only and its while running
it also gives you dmg boost on Dot which is why it works on Ocho
Dude there was a glitch when arcana used that drone it could clear the dot by using its ability .. infinite go basically, not anymore
I recently won an ocho for my main account and upgraded it to Mk2. I'm going to be honest but I am pretty disappointed in it's performance, but I can not really complain because I don't have the Hiruko drone. I also got a durability extender for my frozen scorn and was pretty shocked to see the new stats. Not really happy about it, but that is just my own thoughts on it. Thanks for the info Predator!
Ocho is actually rlly mid, I got one too and it’s ass
Don't just rush in when you spawn. Force a couple 1v1's and once your amps are stacked, you'll see the difference in performance. Make sure you have the tiger pilot and defence skills. It's more of a tank than a brawler.

I love pixonic let's nerf the only things that have a chance in the game "tanks" but not all the weapons and robots that have arrived. Maybe help the old school robots, ultimate doesn't count your average player will never see one. I hope they get there stuff together this game use the be amazing on launch

To be fair the Fenrir just joined, it doesn't matter if it's UE or not, if it does not have it's AMPs up it is still vulnerable and not counting the other factors such as it's level.
True, when a robot drops for the first time in a match it will be the most vulnerable at start
@@haniashaheer4191 Yeah exactly that's why Shenlous are so deadly they can easily hop into the spawn first 20 secs and with their electric weapons it's over, depending on map and such.

2:40 The DOT does not deal gray damage, which will not reduce the durability extension. The point of the DOT is to synergize the next drone's ability which gives you more damage upon suffering from DOT, basically giving you on-module use damage.

That's a good thing, there shouldn't be unlimited stacks. If something is possible, the hackers will use it. Then they have max stacks from the start. A limit helps to keep up with a regular bot and skill. A prominent example is [mf] Mother f... currently with his pathfinder with 2x shock train on it.
I think Hiruko should have been "nerfed" by simply granting 1k HP + 1 stack of -200 hp/sec DoT effect for every power cell spent, rather than 30k HP + 25 stacks of -240 hp/sec DoT effect regardless of how much power you spent, because I firmly believe they should be trying to make bank on power cells rather than on messing around and ruining previous stuff with nerfs, and rushing new boring unabalanced things out (last time I spent in this game was before the Orkan nerf, so I say this as f2p myself).
Maybe they could also remove the 5% base damage buff of the last skill, to make it fully dependent on DoT effect for bonus damage, as the naming implies. As for the mothership turret, I fail to see good reason to mess with it. None of this should have been a hotfix either but rather announced at least 2 weeks in advance.

I have resentment towards Pixonic. I was able to buy some stuff during Newton, Ocho and Ophion meta. Got the dampers, Tamers, entire Newton setup and a few Ophions. I than began to experience lower funds when Currie, Shenlou, Eiffle and everything else came out. I was able to get any of those things and everything I did have got nerfed and NOTHING of the newer stuff has been nerfed yet

At first I was like; "NOOO! They killed my Arachnid Invader build!", but then I realized that 240k hp along with all the other bonuses is still great, and Hiruko just went from a spamable abusable drone to reasonably powerful drone, and I dont think that it will really damage my build all that much 👍
Incorrect. You also don't receive the DoT damage at 8 stacks. Which means you don't get the damage buff either
@user-uk2cy6yj1k Well I didn't really care enough about the damage bonus to upgrade Hiruko past level 9, so it doesn't actually effect me, and at least you still get the 5% extra base damage from that skill.

Hackers used Hiruko on their undying robots. Curie with unlimited health,5 on 1 yet currie lives, the hiruko on lynx,undying just like curie,hiruko on raptor made raptor tougher than his helicopter drone,yea pixonic would rather nerf an item than ban hackers using this drone on their cheating bots.. we all suffer for the cheaters and hackers. I ever meet one of you Hacking cheats,your device will become a part of your urethra.
Hiruko is still good. People still run dot weapons and Motherships. That counts for something at least. What WR should be nerfing are the subduer weapons and healing stacks. Because it's an issue for players unable to heal. It seems like a 100% and we are wasting powercells

honestly they need to nerf the lynx or the ophions because i see them everywhere and most of the lynxs use those harpoon weapons and kill everyone on my team. I don’t tun meta bots and i have MK2 bots and well leveled weapons but even a lynx with those harpoon weapons can easily take down my invader which is an issue because invader has as much health as a low leveled kid titan.

Hi there, pascal is a better drone in general since it can heal and give damage boosts and other benefits which can be useful to most doesn't really have strict requirements like the helicopter one that needs the reflector of raptor (not sure if it needs specifically raptor) to use the shield breaker it gives whenever reflector is on but thats just one ability not used so pick wisely.

I prefer this new durability extender with set limit and not done by percentage. It’s all good when your full health, but when you’re low health it’s giving you a percentage of that small amount. Where as the set number will always be the same every time helping you more when your getting low on health. I see crash and burn my clan mate got no.1 match first match. Go crash!

I won't shed any tears over something only p2w players could have. But that is the systemic problem in WR isn't it? pixonic drops a completely unbalanced new robot or weapon or drone or motherships into the live server then people complain by the 1000's per day that p2w players are abusing the imbalances to "cheat" (usually no one can tell a cheater apart from a bully p2w player who enjoys abusing broken stats of new products since both types of player are toxic to a healthy PvP game).
