Hey Brother-- I am moving from defensive back to outside mid for an upcoming game because I am "in shape"... It will be my first time playing anything other than D. I play adult league and am fairly new to the sport. I am fast and strong (ex wrester and American football player) when you said "play to your strengths" I feel like I would want to play like you said you play-- 1-2 touch, quick passes, and making runs off that... Is there any other tips, or anything else you can elaborate on regarding that playing style? Tips.. tricks? Thank you!

You said it bro. Study and learn how to play effectively that way. Emulate players that play that way, Adama Traore is one, and constantly analyze and improve yourself

I typically play an outside midfielder. My manager prefers a 4-4-2 vrs a 4-3-3. The latter allows me to play the ball forward to either the outside winger ahead of me or more inside to center attacker. In the 4-4-2. I seem too often isolated along the sideline & having to cover a lot of ground then backtracking to boslter D. Any insights? Thanks-KW

Sometimes the balls comes in to you,and the defender closes you down leaving all the space behind! Makes it so easy to run and cross!
