- In this video I head to Blanchard Rock shop in New Mexico to go dig on their claim! They have over 50 minerals including fluorite, barite, galena, and smokey quartz.

How long do u soak your crystal with iron out to clean it good?
We did them overnight. We did iron out then muriatic acid, in retrospect I would I have done the muriatic acid first. I still have a lot of iron stains tho. It doesn’t really hurt quartz so if it’s quartz I’d say do it for at least 24 hours
@@loveinstonecreations i did soak my quartz for more than 24 hours with iron out, but doesn’t seem to work.. what ratio of water did u mix with the iron out?
@@BoiDoggo oh gosh I don’t remember. That stuff is pretty safe to use a heavy ratio tho. Use the liquid not the powder.

I must have been confused when I said that last think about using the liquid. Use the powder sorry. It’s like a cup a gallon.
