As soon as I spotted the Crestwood a few months ago I was smitten! Actually getting my hands on one left me very impressed-the specs are excellent (Graph Tech and CTS), and the fretwork was very well done, with a nicely rolled fretboard edge. Fast forward a few months and a Coronet also somehow followed me home; that P90 is astonishingly good. I suppose I'll have to find a Wilshire to complete the set...

I have an Epiphone Wildkat which I spent a fortune on mods, I love P90s and the Wilshire looks fantastic ? CTS pots, graphite nut, double cutaway, and the pickups getting great reviews. One has the option to fit a tremolo too if so inclined, sounds an absolute winner to me.

I’m really impressed with these Epiphones. I gave my Coronet away. I have a Crestwood too but I wasn’t impressed with their pickups. I swapped them out for a set of Lollar Firebird pickups and it changed it into a completely different and better sounding guitar. I also have Casino Coupe and a 1966 Howard Roberts.

It doesn't matter what kind of tool you have. It's important what kind of master you are.

I love my Epiphones! To date this includes a Hummingbird Pro and an AJ acoustic. On the electric side there are a 1994 LP Classic, 2008 SG, 2015 SG worn walnut, and 2016 Casino. I also have 2 LP jr's that in the "mod" process.

Great clean tones on all these guitars 🎾 but you also need to do an overdrive or distortion demo. Especially on the Crestwood with the mini bucker pickups.

I own three Epiphones. I've never had a complaint about any of them. I sold off my Gibsons and if I want a 'Gibson style' guitar, I buy Epiphone.

Epiphone is where Les paul invented his solid body guitar the Log in 1941 long before Gibson and Mc McCarty got involved with anything with les paul..

Gibson aquired the Epiphone company in 1957. All the solid body models .... Crestwood, Wilshire and Coronet were Gibson design. It's very evident in the early Coronets which had the thicker slab bodies very similar to the Les Paul JR and Specials of 58 and 59. In early 60 they went through the same kind revamping that the Les Paul went through and received thinner rounded edge bodies. These new reissues are very faithful in design to the originals even up to the painted aluminum logos which got changed to a silk screen logo in 1962-63. The only real noticeable difference is a centre seam 2 piece mahogany body in place of a 1 piece mahogany body like the originals.
