For a while they filmed Dancing with the Stars and Strictly Come Dancing at the same time and they had Len and Bruno flying weekly between England and America. I'm wondering if jet lag was affecting their energy levels and just their moods generally. Let's face it, they'd never usually treat each other in that way!

Len was spot on! The show was great in the early years when the couples would just dance with no flashing lights distracting, etc. in the room and in the floor. He is a true ballroom dancer and judge and judges the way he is supposed to on content and technique.
It's not just about whether he has a point but the tone in which he says it. He was acting like a cranky old man that kills the vibe sometimes. It's only Dwts after all, not a pro competition.
Both Len and Bruno are majorly jetlagged. They're both flying between England and America every week to do Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing With the Stars. Seems that it affects Len worse than Bruno. Len's scores on Strictly tend to be lower than usual when he's going backwards and forwards between the two shows.

You can tell that the pair of them are jet lagged on strictly when dancing with the starts gets towards the end, particularly Len (since Bruno has the energy of someone half his age lol) but at times you can tell in the uk they just need to stop going back and forth. They really should put DWTS on before strictly starts or something
The judges really need to learn some respect and decency between themselves . I know they are judges and have to give an opinion but in this and age the way things are be kind and choose ur words carefully as they can have a lasting effect on people.
In the UK, when he was part of it, he would never be like that. Not even Craig, the strictest Strictly judge ever, hasn't acted like this. Now has he ever told any fellow judge that their vocal cords are stuck up their ass. And even worse to think he does that to another judge of the UK he works with too. Surprised he doesn't act like this IN the UK if he's like that in the UK. I'm starting to see him now as just a shouting guy who only gives SEVENNNNs and Tens from Lens, to mask his inner personality. Ofcourse though, we can't blame him with the jet lag and the 24/7 working together careers.
