Boulevard has been amazing this year. The variety of castings, colors, designs, everything. I like that even the background card art is more vibrant and colorful. I hope they keep the momentum up in 2024.
You nailed it on the head about the wheels on the Accord. They either need to to be wider or pushed out further to be flush with the body. It just looks weird with the wheels set so far in.
Finally an Accord has appeared in Hot Wheels. The underrepresented Honda in diecast is much needed. Hoping Matchbox will do stock Accords in the future; anyone who has driven one knows how reliable and surprisingly fast some of these can get.
An Anglia! Think about that…An Anglia….who’d have thought the great & mighty of Mattel would bestow such honour to a humble British Bang & Fart car from the late fifties to mid sixties! Just awesome…. Or am I the only sixty something here to be excited by this? Oh yeah, the JDM stuff & the Porsche looks nice. 😁
Hotwheels is killing it right now. Another crazy set that’ll probably be near impossible to find in stores but good luck to everyone that acccord is a definite top 10 casting of the year. Like dude seriously a 96 accord in premium
Fantastic Boulevard set to end 2023 with a bang! Nissan Z and Honda Accord are my most favorites, followed by the Porsche 935. The '95 Toyota Celica also looks nice in the 'TRD' Livery. The '67 Ford Anglia Racer is definitely original, although it's not a car you would usually associate with racing (although there are actual Racing Anglias out there). Really nice to see these loose, thanks for the previe Lamley!
Now we just need the Castrol livery Celica. Would make a good Car Culture rally set. And yes we need a video about comparing Car Culture and Boulevard.

Seriously! I've had such better luck with Auto World, which I prefer anyway, then ever picking up Boulevard. Heck, they're cheaper too. (Which makes ZERO sense, given that AW has opening parts, unique wheels for each casting, ect.)

Got lucky with one of the Walmarts. I grabbed 2 Accords, 2 Porsche and 2 Celica. I opened one of the Celica because I was curious on how premiums feel😂🤣😂
John please use your connection with Mattel's team to let them know how horrible the pixelated/matrixed paint is. It's showing up on most premium models (not mainline that I'm aware). They know how to make good stuff and this shortcut is really not well received!

I owned a 97 Accord EX 5sp for 20 years. I always said it would probably be the last car i ever buy. Unfortunately a drunk idiot driving an f250 on his cell had a different plan for my White Gundam parked in front of my girls house. Destroyed beyond repair. I told the guy at the junkyard how much it meant to me. He was so touched by my story, that a week later he called me and let me have the red powder coated Vtec Valve cover. I had it framed and it now hangs on my living room wall. Will definitely try to get a few of these Accords. The taillights belong to the 97 version just like mine had.

All 5 look awesome. The Nissan Z is amazing. Gotta mention that the roof scoop on the (front engine) Celica is kind of stupid. Otherwise, the livery and casting are great.

Can you tell the Mattel team that distribution of Boulevard is piss poor. Some stores will get a dozen cases while another only gets one. Hard to buy something when you store doesn't get it.

love the onboard wheels racing look of the accord. building up a great set of classic touring race cars over the last few years from hot wheels.
