Unforgettable.
Agreed
I definitely agree with you. He's the greatest Irish singer in the world 🌎!
What a voice, unique and beautiful!
There will never be another band like em.Thanks for a life of pleasure and song
Thanks for commenting.
January 30, 1984 - the day on which, for me, the greatest singer an the soul of The Dubliners, was left our world. I hope he was able to take his Banjo with him on this trip. Thanks for this reminder.
I remember that day well! I was on my way to College when I heard the news. Hard to study after that, and to make it worse, I had a gig that night. Bad Day!!
You are very welcome!
I think this day was the saddest day in Ireland 🇮🇪 and in the world 🌎 😢.
Love Luke and all of the Dubliners. Love to see them all together. 💚💚☘️☘️🇮🇪🇮🇪🎶🥰🥰
Luke Kelly made the Irish folk songs happen in the world 🌎
The soul of a nation. Godspeed Luke.
Nicely put!
The great man himself . The Dubs were the best ...loved the original crew . Thanks so much for this
Glad you enjoyed it
I saw him a few times when I was young. He put his soul into every song. To my mind, once Luke has sung a song, nobody else needs to bother.
He did put his stamp on them. A hard act to follow.
@@TheDublinersOfficial I got to see him on stage 3 times. I wish it would have been a hundred.
thank you for putting this in. It is such a pleasure hearing him again-, and seeing him and the other fellows.
You are very welcome. Glad you enjoyed hearing him again.
I,'love him!,iI'love the Dubliner !🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Such a beautiful voice
Dearest Luke Kelly is the best of best !!!
Oh yeah, he's the greatest Irish folk singer I've known.
Irish music wouldn’t be the same without him! 💚
Well said!
RIP his music lives forever
Simply fantastic! The greatest. Eccezionali!
Glad you liked it.
Way to go, Luke Kelly!
Legendary lad
I say Luke is a legend and he will, never be forgotten or disrespected, I sadly never met him but I admired his skill as a musician his voice is awesome and he did act for a time he played King Herod in the play Jesus Christ superstar. He had hair similar to Tom Baker,s in style but a different colour, and he is a hard act to follow.
Not many of these boys left.
always a good listen,
thank you
You are very welcome!
Just John 😢
Thank you for your vision and creativity and standing up for something you believe in an playing music that you want to creat
@@okandmanniska1183Paddy and Sean are still alive as well
@@Sabouma28 They aren't the original members
I never got to listen to these lads but I still play them with a bit of whiskey and beer! We will never forget Luke Kelly!
Even though he might have passed his memory lives and will continue to live on. As long as there are Irish, there will be Luke Kelly
I am a big fan i still miss him as a musician myself i sang his songs
This is great! Thank you for uploading, and thanks to all the Dubliners.
Glad you enjoyed it!
2 uploads in a week! Epic!
The human voice at its best, the acapella harmoniums are close to perfect for "the ould triangle"
R.I.P luke from Oklahoma USA
Classic and unforgettable
The world is a little darker without his voice.🍀
A legend
Grazie per questo filmato stupendo, invidio chi ha potuto ascoltare e vedere di persona, c'è una energia fantastica!
Always found ronnies strumming style very interesting.... formed from a love of Spanish music . Long may they rest ,never forgot ......no Nay never no more. 😊
Great video mate. Dublin Legends featuring Sean Cannon (30 years with the Dubs) are playing at Nells, Kensington, London on St Patricks Day, 17th March.
The Skald King of Dublin... R.I.P
Ireland's soul
Have you noticed reading through the comments there become blurred.
Think it's the tears.
If Raglan Road was at the end ... it would have ben a masterpiece . I wonder what they'll do for 50 Years ?
Thanks for watching.
One of the best ever. Pure class.
There was only one Luke Kelly
Legend of legends!! do you have any rare footage of Luke?
🙏🫡🍀🥹
Captions should be added by the channel mods as the auto generated ones cannot figure out the fast paced voice of Luke :D Is there any way to restore the original recordings and release them as HD so that they stand the test of time.
