You do what I do keep cooking on the truck the food at most truck stops is posion. 80 percent of what I eat is cooked on the
Truck .I have some of my own cooking videos. But once you start looking you will see many out there
You try and catch yourself if you complain. That's a sign of a strong mind imo.
When I was a car hauler I used to cook my own food just like this, kept me in shape and I was always full after eating real food Instead of fast food.

I know that cleanup in a truck is a hassle, but you should Pamper yourself with a beautiful set of dishes and silverware. You work hard, you deserve it.
Sometimes I use olive oil, other times I use Kerrygold butter. I think I like the butter better.
I cook in my truck as well. It's much healthier. Good Job

Avocado oil has a higher smoke point. Like 500° or so I believe. 🥑😉

Hey Trucker Gal !!!!!I am glad to see you are doing KETO .I did that and lost over 100 lbs . !I also started fasting at the same time , which is easy on KETO , because of the high fat content ,you dont get hungry ! I actually took in more calories than i did when i was on a crap diet , and basically dying .Life is fantastic now. RECIPE !!! 1 LB ground beef . 1 steamit diced broccali . 1/2 cup cheese .2 tablespoons coconut oil . i use sour cream on the side .1/2 can rotelle tomatoes . You will figure the rest out

I like my eggs over medium and I like my steaks well so you just hand me that plate and I’ll eat that food.
Does your truck have a APU or just a power inverter. I'm going to get one of those skillets if my truck can power it.
Gotta give her a lot of credit, it is hard to eat healthy on the road. Most of the time you buy 60 gallons of fuel and get a credit for food or showers. That makes it easy to pig out on fast food and that isn't healthy.

Serious question. How do you get the smell of fried food out of your truck? Everything I eat when on the road I either steam or re-heat in the microwave.
When I was training, one of the guys I ride with fried food in his truck for over a year prior and the can always smelled of it. He kept a clean interior one of the reasons I didn’t mind riding with him for weeks. But the old scent of fries food was strong, especially when we could not put a window down.
Not a big deal really. If cleaned properly it goes away 👍

Usually when I'm on a US hwy vs the interstate. It's always Walmart most of the time but if I can find a Publix I'm there!
