A little piece of heaven was made as a fun, weird song with a halloween themed vibe. It was mostly Rev's creation - there's a song's Making of documentary if you want to know more.
I'm not sure if you liked it or not, but I think it really grows on you after some time with it and with A7X.
The original idea was to do a few songs for a Halloween EP. Presumably, the songs Scream and Dancing Dead were also written for that EP. Warner Brothers scrapped the EP because they didn't figure it would sell, but encouraged the band to put A Little Piece of Heaven on an album.
I did like parts of it and I liked the animation , now that you said it it is actually kinda Halloween themed or it just gives these vibes . I just gotta get used to the instrumental that is played when they sing the verses . 😁✌️
@@balterlenn2001 there's really great instrumental tracks. Without the vocals, it sounds like an awesome Tim Burton movie score.
This song WAS created by the rev
The string and horn arrangements were all by Steve Bartek from the band Oingo Boingo.
Hahaha this song is very different. Not many people is prepared for this video. I recommended you the live version because in this performance (Live in the LBC) they improve the song and I knew that in the studio version you would pay more attention to the video than with the music.
The first time is something weird and very different, you dont know if you liked. But with the time you Will aprecciate more. Like!!

When I heared this song for the first time I absolutely hated, but after more listens, the song grew on me, and now, it's one of my favorites from them.

Lol this is one of the first song I listened of avenged sevenfold I didn't even know who the fuck sung it who are the band but as soon as I heard the song I fell in love with it then the band followed... Now avenged sevenfold is one of my fav band....

Don't know if you've seen the Tim Burton films before but the instrumental are exactly the same style since the artist that made the Tim Burton songs worked with this song as well. Im pretty sure they wanted it to sound sinister-ish but also fun and unsettling to go with the story of the music. Overall, amazing piece hahaha

I have done already I believe on the first A7X reaction I did I said that the only 2 songs I knew back then from them was Nightmare and Afterlife . I did react to Afterlife LIVE performance tho so I might do Nightmare LIVE soon :)
