Sweetie, being sick doesn't mean "Oh, I can work now." Please rest and sleep. I'm hoping you have the flu and not Covid, but whatever, let your body be your guide. Glad you have the weighted blanket, those are awesome. Sending prayers and best wishes for your quick recovery.

Cory needs to be very careful, even with a negative result. I didn't show symptoms/test positive until 5 days after my bf tested positive. Rest up and stay hydrated! We love you all and hope you'll be okay.

@@Tina2448827 I understand that. I tested the day after my bf tested positive and came back negative on that test, started showing symptoms 4 days later and tested positive. We're saying that an initial negative doesn't mean you're in the clear, you have to monitor yourself for a few days after and retest if symptoms appear. This virus goes from family member to family member quickly, so be aware and be cautious.

@@septemberfullwood3782 - I would add, that if it were my family, I would test everyone again anyway, because as they are learning from tracking this virus over 10 months is that the majority of people are asymptomatic days before they show symptoms, & some Covid positive people never develop symptoms at all, but still can infect others.
I’m just so sorry for Kristen, as I have developed sudden, chronic asthma in the last 4 months so I can sympathize. I’ll pray she gets through the course of this without feeling any worse than she does now, & that Cory & the kids stay healthy.

My husbands old job kept pressuring employees to come back into the office. My husband ended up being exposed to someone who was positive. Thankfully he tested negative..but his work ended up having 11 people test positive. Most of them went and initially had a rapid test done which told them they were negative. Then within 24-48 hours told them they were actually positive. I feel like they need to get rid of the rapid tests all together. I hope your family is safe and healthy and that you have a speedy recovery and get LOTS of rest. Take care. ❤️

Exactly Kristin, Cold air is more dense and has a higher oxygen content. It's good for you, may help with your comfort if your fevers get worse, AND if you have the windows open and a fan going, it will be flushing the air through your room and not giving the virus in your breaths a chance to build up and get circulated through the rest of the house. Wishing you the best sweetie.

Oh nooo not you Kristen, Its okay to not be able to focus. Where do you think you caught it from? My parents and I had covid back in March. My mom and I survived. Unfountenley my dad got worse and passed away at the hospital in April. Get some liquid "Elderberry" and "Immpower" immune system vitamins. Its worth having it in hand. I hope you feel better soon.

Kristin, I hope you get better soon!! I know when I had Covid it was really hard to relax( I'm a mom of 3 boys). Im not so lucky that I could quarantine like you are. Im thankful that it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
    Your kiddos are so sweet!!
Cory you are doing awesome! Yall are amazing! Kristin idk if what all you have in your pharmacy, but I took Oscillococcinum ( 3 times a day), Zinc, Vitamin-C , one a day Vitamin, and I drank a lot of fluids!
    Get well soon!!

Dang, sounds really tough, I hope you get better real soon! You're a soldier for staying so positive too!
Also, I felt a bit warm when you explained how it felt similar to having ADD... having ADD, I felt understood when you said that. I wish more people would understand like you do (preferably without that involving any kind of harm or sickness of course).

I had ...something... starting early March. I had picked hubby up at LAX a few days before. Then I started feeling fluish. Achey, tired, low fever. Then a cough that was unending. Then the utter exhaustion. My oxygen measurements were under 90, but doc said to not go to hospital yet. I was soooo tired, I was crawling to the bathroom! I had a cough and no energy or air until about August. But I had a test in April - negative. A blood test in July was also negative! So what did I even have? I was VERRRRRY sick. If it was flu, it was the absolute worst one I've ever had!
Then in December I had tonsillitis, still have a fever, so 2 more tests, 1 was just today. Living in L.A., the drs are just assuming any sick person has it because it's so out of control here. But I don't think I have it, I've rarely left the house at all....

Drink lots of water, take more vitamin C and D (2000iu ) also protein. Take a rest whenever you feel tired. Boil some chicken noodle soup, when it boils, go smell that. That's how I gained my smell back. Also get some air flow. I remember there's a window there? Stay warm, though!!!

I would recommend that you tell Cory to get you a pulse oximeter to check your oxygen saturation now. Any reading under 95-96 means you need to be at the hospital. Plus, your past medical history of having a form of asthma in the past puts you at an elevated risk.

i love m’y weighted blanket except I can’t sleep with it on. I toss around so much in my sleep the first night I used it I woke up in a panic because I couldn’t move, maybe mine is just too heavy lol. I use mine or lounging and nap, relieves all the tension in my muscles it’s amazing

Moving some is good, but I don't think it takes much to help prevent blood clots. Keep the fluids going. Take care and feel better soon. Probiotics might help you heal faster too - there are some studies that just came out that indicate the microbiome might play a significant role in illness severity and recovery. (Also I recognize Mr. T from the letter people! My PK class used that way back in 80s - we had a letter of the week every week)
