- A 4K Walking Tour of Dublin, Ireland filmed in March 2024.
Today's walking tour is filmed in one of the wealthiest and most beautiful parts of Dublin. Dalkey is a medieval town on the Southside of the city and is home to celebrities such as Bono and The Edge and has been a temporary home for the likes of Russell Crowe and Matt Damon among others.
The video begins in Blackrock Train Station where I got The Dart directly to Dalkey passing Dun Laoghaire Harbour along the way. Starting at the beautiful Coliemore Harbour overlooking Dalkey Island I then walked back to the town and along it's main street. Some points of interest along the way include the town's pubs like The Club, Finnegan's and The Queens, the beautiful homes both small and large and Dalkey Castle Heritage Centre on Castle Street.

Phenomenal resort. The colors of the houses harmonize, and I especially liked the terrace on top of one of the corner buildings.
I can easily get to Dalky by DARK, sit in a cafe and enjoy the beautiful view.

Great video. I used to go to national school in Dalkey but never appreciated how lovely it was then. I'm just waiting for the Euro Millions win so I can wake up to those views over Dalkey Island 😂
