Saidee your mum is so supportive in whatever your decision you made, you don’t need to worry about disappointing her, she loves you as long as your happy she’s good. Love the hair new lease on life will make all the difference. Congratulations on your decision and wishing you the best of luck 😘

At 26, seeing the previous video and an update on Saidee’s decision has healed part of my inner child. I think I grew up not very confident in my own decisions because my mom was definitely a fixer instead of just a listener, and I’m always grateful for everything she’s done, but as an adult I’ve had to learn to be confident in my own decisions in some tough ways. I’m still learning every day. I hope everything works out in public school (I know I’m sort of late since this was last year 😂) and I hope this moment in Saidee’s life gives her the confidence to trust her decisions and her feelings.

  • @nellc5977

You did a perfect job in answering her and letting her be in control of her story. However, there seems to be some underlying anxiety/ OCD?/ control? issues that are making her internal world miscible. I think a very honest conversation about what her internal world is really like would help. Those kind of issues can cause someone to use substances to help control their internal battles. I really think she needs therapy to teach her how to cope with the things happening. Perhaps checking her hormone levels wouldn't hurt either. She is very close to tears a lot. I know the public school might seem to be what she needs but the place won't matter if she doesn't have the skills to just be at peace internally.

I really hope that SaiDee will found out who she really is. I'm supportive in her decisions, and hope that being at public school helps her in any way. I really love this family because their mother is so supportive of every child and is always there for them. My parents are always working so I have to watch my siblings most of the time. We don't have a lot of money, so we can't get the bigger house, or the lives we have always wanted. I really enjoy seeing people that don't have to deal with this kind of stuff. They should always be grateful that they get to experience life better than most people ever could. Especially with such a big family. My parents have a hard time with only 5 kids, but 16! My parents couldn't ever imagine 😭

Something my mom told me since I was a little girl probably starting at like 5 or 6 was that there are mean people in this world and unfortunately you can’t change that. I was bullied relentlessly as a kid for being “overweight” even though none of my doctors were ever worried about my weight. It is such a painful thing to deal with and can make us think badly about ourselves and our bodies. My mom always said “There will be people who bully you and there is nothing you can do or say to make them stop. But you have the power over your own mind. Don’t let mean kids affect who you are. Because at the end of the day you have to live with yourself everyday and not the other kids.” This has stuck with me for my 26 years of life. I’ve stopped caring how others view me because at the end of the day I’m the only person who has to spend 100% of the time with myself. Hope things got better for Saidee! She is going to do big things one day!

I know this video is really old but I praise you for handling it so well! I haven’t heard the best about Not Enough Nelsons but I’m kinda addicted to family channels so wanted to give it a chance - and honestly, I’ve binged hours worth of videos and I don’t see what the problem is. Sure, you may be a strict religious family, but I think that the way you raise your kids will shape them into stand-up, comfortable characters.
Again, I know this video is old, but I don’t think that pulling her away from the bullies was the fix to the situation. All that does is teach her to run from her problems. She has to stand her ground, and fix herself from within. What you could’ve done is have a talk with these girls’ parents (because it’s a possibility that THEY don’t know how their kids are treating other people, and hopefully they would sit down with them and teach them the damage of words). But that doesn’t heal SaiDee - so from there, you need to help her build herself back up. Therapy is an option if she absolutely needs it, or YOU can help her raise her confidence (**EDIT: I wasn’t finished with the second half of this video when I started writing this, but now that I’m watching it I see that you’re already helping her with this and teaching her that everyone’s taste is different so she shouldn’t change herself to satisfy one group of people, because then there will be other people that don’t like it and it will be an endless loop. GREAT PARENTING! I’m definitely going to take these lessons with me for my future children). It sounded like these girls were body shaming her? So maybe teach her that these girls may have taken it out on her because they have these misconceptions of unrealistic beauty standards (thanks to our society) and maybe they don’t feel all that confident in THEMSELVES? So they decided to take it out on SaiDee, which is never okay, but just like you try to do yourself - teach SaiDee to step out of her own shoes. (**another edit because you also touched on this a little bit but definitely think you should emphasize this more if you don’t already!)
Overall, I watched all 3 parts to this and I’m proud of how it was handled and I’m proud of SaiDee for being able to recognize her internal issues and speak out on it. I’m going to check out the more recent videos after this one, but I hope that she’s feeling more comfortable and happy with herself. ❤️

I’m from South Africa. Almost all schools here, public and private have uniforms that I know of. I find it so interesting that only the private schools require uniforms in the states. We have a few schools that let you where whatever you want or have more relaxed uniforms (like just a collared shirt and jeans). Hope Saidee is happy in her new school. I for sure know that schools can really make you feel unmotivated or depressed if you aren’t in the right learning environment. I believe this is a good decision for you. Also just want to say to Tiffany, it’s lovely to see such an understanding mom that allows her children to write their own chapters in their book of life. Honey, trust me....those mean girls you dealt with end of last school year, are big old Zero's. (And I know how mean that sounds) They have not been hugged enough at home by their parents and pick on others to make themselves feel better. Please dont let them have power over you, by making you act and make poor decisions that will affect you. YOU are Beautiful, Smart and a kind Young Woman...just be you. Middle school IS hard, find something that let's you be you and the rest can go pound salt. Being you and doing things that make you happy will show all over your face and make others want to be around you.....and all of a sudden you will notice the Mean Girls have become something that cant affect you. Make smart decisions, not because you're afraid of messing up (because we all do that) but because in your heart and Gutt you know what is the right thing to do. AND if you're unsure, shoot....excuse yourself from the conversation call your Mom, or Kenn or Kass or heck Jainee - you dear girl have wonderfully strong role Models to help you and guide you when You're unsure of yourself. I had a Bully in the middle years, and you know what - after I found my own strength and didnt let her have any power over me - she seemed to fade into oblivion.....She resurfaced in HighSchool a little, but guess what? She wanted to be my Friend because I found me and was confident in all I'd done and who I was as a young woman. It's amazing how once you find your confidence, you'll find friends that are like thinkers and who want to be around you. A Bully is a Bully because they are Terrified inside that people will see their flaws, faults and shortcomings. Start your own little club.....even if it's only a casual one with just a few friends. There is strength in numbers and even just that one Bestie, where you have each other's back, can make all the difference in the world. Be well sweet girl, and just be you....mean girls be damned. And if all else fails, try and grab a little footage on your phone of what's happening....Bully's, when confronted with truth and Evidence, back down, get expelled and end up loosing respect and friends. Do be fearful, BE FEARLESS! ❤❤

What people says, thinks or the "Labels" doesn't matter unless you believe it's true. Know your worth! YOU ARE AN AWESOME PERSON, What matters is what we see ourselves and how God sees us. That's what we have to believe. AND..... YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD. YOU HAVE A GREAT FAMILY. YOU HAVE A LOT OF SIBLINGS/BFF FOR LIFE. I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! Believe in yourself. Whatever school you choose. Always remember, YOU ARE WORTHY, YOU ARE ABLE and YOU ARE BLESSED!!! I hope this helped. I know some people who also struggled with this kind of issues and I also struggled back then but I realized that nothing and no one could ever help us with what we're going through if we don't help ourselves. So let's start believing and keep in mind that WE ARE A CHILD OF GOD! 🥰🥰🥰

This video makes me tear up, to see a mother support their children no matter what, to be able to have these conversations with a teenager and be honest, be supportive, be caring, be able to let them walk their own walk and write their own story, Tiffany, you are doing incredible things! ❤

I’m currently in public school, I fell pretty much the same as Saidee in private. I got bullied multiple times, teachers helped me as much as the could but the girl is still at me. I fell like I’m not myself in school bc all the parents had to vote if we should have uniforms or not, and they choose uniforms. I don’t like the uniform it’s all dull. Good luck Saidee!
