I feel like Itoje is slowly getting back to pre 2019 levels. Also Goode is always head and shoulders. Such a brilliantly skilled player. It’s a shame he never really had much of a chance with England

I'm guessing many of his detractors don't watch the premiership or would have struggled to remain credible with their usual narrative...high tackle, cant defend, , isn't a playmaker, just kicks , is a liability.
I've always thought Goode was underutilized by England. Not the biggest or fastest but huge game IQ. Class player.
Olly hartley will be incredible from what ive seen of him. Bout time england had a big quick 12 with good footwork.
Was there it was pretty rough! I do not think the Quins offense was that bad, but Saracens defense was outstanding.
Farrell played very well, he was like a predator in the back it was like they always they had an extra player wherever they needed it.
There is no doubt which team gained the most from the world cup ending!

To be fair, Farrell would be struggling just as much if the rest of his team performed the way Quins did.
Agree, TV is a visual medium, dont need to chat all the time, it actually creeps in to a lot of commentary.

I just turn the sound off ... lose a bit of the atmosphere but the pacing, tone and content of the commentary just does my head in. Feel a bit harsh but it just makes me feel a bit stressed.
So glad I was at the game. The poor Quins performance at least wasn’t as bad as the commentary. Fucking cringe 😂😂😂

Men against boys last night- our back three were completely exposed, we need a specialist full back- we are missing Murley and why the fuck we let Marchant go is a mystery. Appreciate it is Saracens but worst Quins performance I’ve seen for a long time.
Marchant got French money thrown at him. Top14 clubs have way higher salary cap. I don’t see how this could have been avoided.
@@JTM1809by paying wages smarter? Marchant is good but he’s not that good, the money he’s getting at France can’t be that brilliant. Like he barely gets into a Saracens back line and they can afford to pay all their players wages, so either harlequins are overpaying other more mediocre players too much or they don’t have the finances to spend the maximum limit on wages like other premiership clubs, which seems unlikely to me but I don’t know

Ahh such a nightmare. I had to turn the sound off, the incessant squawking more than my ears could stand.
I believe that as a rugby commentator their goal is to provide the best possible commentary service to the audience to enrich and enhance their understanding and experience of the game. The second is not to deliberately ruin the game, but to try our best to convey the excitement and passion of the game to the audience. I understand you may have a different opinion and I agree with you!
Unfair comments about how commentator sounds, but in my mind she is simply trying to hard to find creative ‘forced’ adjectives. I think she could relax, perhaps she is just trying to over do it to compete with male commentators
Saracens Quins is the most one sided ‘derby’ in any sport. Quins have literally never beat a full strength Sarries team in the last decade

I mean if you watched the whole game you actually would have seen some nice attacking moves through the backs, the backs made all the territory for sarries but the maul was used to execute the final 10 metres and get the tried.
Why do we have to have a woman commenting on mens rugby, its not right, they should stick to the women's game, I turn off straight away.
