  • Meet the Mitra® device with VAMS® technology. It is a microsampler -- an easy-to-use device that allows study participants to self-collect a volumetrically accurate bio-fluid specimen at home.
After one training session, participants are ready to self-collect an accurate sample every time. You can deploy the Mitra device or Mitra Collection Kits to your study participants at home, in rural areas, in low-resourced regions, or anywhere they may be!
Remote sampling offers convenience and flexibility. Mitra Collection Kits offer participants the ability to just sample-and-send while eliminating costs and complexities associated with onsite sampling and cold-chain shipping. A convenient alternative to facility visits cuts your costs and promotes adherence, compliance, and subject retention. It empowers patients, participants, and professionals alike.

Yes, we have received very positive feedback from research and health organizations that are providing Mitra devices with VAMS technology for remote specimen collection and microsampling to organ transplant patients. This remote sampling approach, when paired with telehealth commumications, helps to keep organ transplant patients out of the facility where contagions are a risk.
