Loved the video..However, the point where you mentioned natal chart placement can not predict sade sati effects may not be right because even though lagna show a good saturn, the soul/navamsa can be very bad and that can override the good effect of Saturn and also Mahadasha can be used alongside to judge the intensity of Sade Sati.
The technique works perfect on dedication and focus for aspects of Saturn on Moon and Venus. I tested it on 3-4 charts and the technique shows correct. Also I would like say that even if moon is not aspected by Saturn but is in Aq or Cap would make person dedicated and focused.

My sincere gratitude for this eye opening talk on sade sati.. In the past, I've felt like I've been through sade sati my whole life, with Saturn on my lagna conjunct mars and jupiter, and aspecting a waning moon on the 7th and retrograde venus on the 10th house. Sun and mercury are together in the 11th house. I don't know if it counts as a remedy, but the day I started being truly grateful for anything and everything that's good in life no matter how few they were helped me get through life with happiness that's independent of external factors and other people. I'm now convinced that my sade sati will be a good one despite being on venus mahadasha. I'll make sure to make notes on the observations made and remind myself of these things when the time comes. I agree that Sadesati teaches us the lesson in areas of the life we neglect. I can say from my experience. I was very devoted in the business and during sadesati did great. But I blindly trusted my family and sadesati taught me my lessons in that area. Had some health issues also. Also mental agony. Saturn does not aspect my moon or Venus. My saturn in Leo and Moon Venus in virgo.
Also, I know someone whose saturn aspect both Venus and Moon. She had a great sadesati because she was committed to her duties. She was good in studies and excelled in studies especially in 2nd dhaiya of sadesati. She loved someone in the first dhaiya but the boy wasn't interested. She persisted with him and eventually the boy fell in love with her in her 2nd dhaiya. But the relationship could not be formed as the boy could not express his feelings on time, and she got married to someone else immediately after her sadesati was over (at a very young age). Maybe she was not destined to have a love marriage...

video was very insightful..I am in my last phase of sadesati. going thru venus mahadasha but saturn aspects my venus and moon in natal chart and is also placed in my ascendent..lots of temptations but could easily resist becoZ of saturn aspects...pressure has been there but overall has been a good period with lots of responsibilities in work and personal life

Great video! Btw I got thru JEE with a high rank when Sade Sati was on. I actually wasn't that serious in the early part of the 2nd Daiya (Saturn over natal Moon). But Saturn did cut some slack for me. I got very focussed and serious during the later part of the 2nd Daiya of Sade Sati, and outscored many of my peers who actually prepared more than me. So I'm inclined to think that Saturn does cut some slack a few times and shows patience with us as long as we are sincere in getting our act together. Thank you again!

Case studies and life stories r really informative. I want to add my observation as per case studies provided in these videos.
Whenever the ascendant have some planets which can Modify the behaviour or confuses him, whether it can be moon venus conjunction or Rahu, ketu. He will be in confused state and may may not fulfill his life purpose.
So in his sade sati or his dayya, he will get lessons/results by Saturn based on his dasha's promise and confusion recieving from planets. It's very simple.

Thanks for the video , mine moon aspected by Saturn and mars , moon in Scorpio .. so my sadesati started in ketu mehadasha .. earned a lot of money but expenses rises that I have no saving , try to get professional job but no luck , siblings pushed me away , and last 2-1/2 I am running I got sick hospitalized for 10 days on medicines since 1 year for life time. 38 years old.
Only ketu/spirituality connection kept me going positively and keep my patience high .
And I yes I had very mannered life hardworking devotion to others caring , but people got hurt by me as they misunderstood me 99% of the time.

His moon is aspected by Saturn in Mesha Rasi.Another example is of my friend Meera Bai. Even she is Vishakha Nakshatra Tula Rasi. I am Leo ascendant. Saturn sitting with Ketu in 8 hours aspects moon and Jupiter in 5 house. This is true that I am a very sincere and focused person. I got a lot of experience (good and bad both) in Sadesati.

My observation on Astakvarg
1) If Lagna or moon is placed in Libra/Aquarius/Capricorn
Saturn's point in Astakvarg if 3 or more gives good result.
2) Other than the above mentioned combination if Saturn's point is 3 or less it will give good result.
I tested this on several horoscopes and see that it is working. Let me know where to send the data and I will do so. I don't feel comfortable to list the data on a public forum. But can tell you that I will adopt this theory in analyzing the Sade Sati period based on Saturn's drishti to Moon or Venus. I have both, onto the Moon and Venus. I tested it on other charts as well. Very good information to determine the success or rise in life during Sade Sati, regardless of whether there is mental suffering during the period, the focus and determination found in the Rasi proved that there was a positive outcome from the efforts made. Again, thank you very much for this information.

Good observations here. The only thing I would say that alot of emphasis was on "studying" and "jobs", but that is not the only concern for people especially for those who have more of a spiritual outlook rather than a material one. I would have loved to hear more from that angle. My humble opinion is that Saturn is concern with whatever progress one makes during his transit or Mahadasa and that can be in any department in life. If you are half-hearted in your job, then you can lose it, and if you are cruel to people you can end up being very alone or also become a reciprocator of that cruelty. Saturn is concerned about your evolution as a human being, He looks at your weaknesses and aims to strengthen them whether you are willing or not.

I authored few articles for the Times of Astrology and KP & Astrology mostly in the previous decade.
This observation from the unknown astrologer is quite interesting and inspiring for it is how things should be. I am happy that the concept worked in the horoscopes he mentioned and hopefully will work in many others. But in my honest opinion, the learned host shouldn't discourage the viewers from giving their experiences based on a single horoscope of those close to them. It is too big to expect viewers to check the rule with 30 horoscopes to comment. The very humble (I observed him in other videos too) host cannot make this a qualification for the viewers to respond. However, I found the inspiring principle fail in a couple of horoscopes, but still, I accept the rule, for it seems too logical to ignore for not working on a couple of horoscopes.

I will Appreciate Saptarishis Astrology, if they Can make a Video on Relation of Free will with Astrology in context with what the Old Sages have told it. Free will is Modern Day word, does it has any relevance with books Like BPHS, JATAKPARIJATA.

Sir, I tested it on mine.First phase of Sadesati was worse emotionally but I was somehow able to work very hard,wrote my PhD , qualified NET,during that time.Second phase fetched me a career as Asst Prof in a Govt University & got married.I am in my last 2.5 phase,still going through emotional turmoil.Please throw some more light on what this last phase does if one sticks to his duties on every front.Unknown Astrologer ji & Sunil ji , please elaborate.
Thank you sir for the insighful videos on sade sati. I have capricorn ascendent as My sade sati began in 2017 and currently in first phase. Quarells in joint family started in the mid of first phase. Last 6-8 months it increased. Last month seperated from my joint family and now living with my family in rented premise. Pressure in life has increased. Also mind is not able to take correct decision and also there is loss of focus.
Exalted saturn in libra( 10th house) aspects my Venus, mercury and jupiter in 12th house sagitarius. Moon is in ascendent in conjuction with Mars
My ashtam shani was in 2006. I was placed in a company based in pune. So every weekend I had to travel back to my home in Aurangabad district. There was lot of pressure to search for accomodation, had 12 kg loss of weight due to loss of appetite and took around a year to recover. This continued till mid 2008 till end of astam shani

Nice video. In my case, my 1st Sade sati ran from May 1987 to Nov 1994. Yet it was during that period that I completed my 10, 12, graduation and enrolled for CA. I was running my Venus main period. My Mercury is debilitated, so how did I manage to complete my CA in the first attempt. My birth details are 27.02.1973, 2.15 am and Mumbai. Your views are welcome.

Sir, most of your example charts are interesting from many angles including moon-sat natal axis, showing natal promise and hence saturn's dhaiya or sadesati effects-good or bad. Astakavarga works for the quality of aspect of life, not just that 0 bindu, so will be bad- not true until that natal axis does not promise. As stated, natal promise has to be analyzed wholistically including sat-moon natal axis.
I was running Venus dasha and things were very good till ve ju (second phase Sade sati), come 3rd phase Sade sati and be sa, lost my job and more financial loss. Kept on searching for job and worked as in office but got only pain.

Plz note the natal Sadhe Sati or dhaiya.There is Sadhe Sati in Scorpio rashi of natal chart. The transit of Saturn in Mohd Shami chart too had similar impact recently. He has Saturn in Sagittarius in 8th house. Moon is in Capricorn. In one more chart I have seen there is ashtam dhaiya. Tula lagna and Moon in Taurus. Venus and Saturn in rashi exchange. Saturn transit at the natal point caused an accident.

Sir, I am also getting a trend in your example charts, I might be wrong, pl correct me then. Sat placed 8th or 12th from moon and if placed with worst enemy Sun or if moon afflicted, only then sadhesati is bad or average. Also, Sat-Ven periods are specially covered in laghu parashari. That makes Sat-Venus relationship very critical in astrology. The venusian energy is contrary to saturnine one.
sun-saturn should keep you focused i would think. or a strong mars with moon and venus. mars give drive and focus.
Sir, It may be the case that ashtakvarga shows how powerful a planet is. While saturn is 0 point in Sagittarius means it could less effectively in delivering the effects.
Vish yoga can make person depressed if there is no other positive aspects on moon.
I tested unknown astrologer's theory. In my chart, Moon is in the 12th house, Venus is in 11th house, and Saturn is in 1st house. And yes, I have had too much mental stress, but now that I see Saturn aspecting both Moon and Venus from the 1st house, I am actually surprised that if Saturn would not have aspected any of these, how difficult would my Sade Sati have been. @visho89 Saturn is not aspecting your Venus and Moon. Saturn only aspects house 3, 7, 10 from its placement.
