Stability issues aside, StarFire is a very beautiful statue. The key issue you experience, actually make me feel better about my friends who bought her. Happy collecting.

Absolutely! I was blown away by how good this looked in person. I mean, the promo pics were fine, but having it in front of you and being able to study it all over gives you an even fonder appreciation. Thanks for checking out the vid!

She looks incredible. Pity I lost the chance to get her. My first Sideshow is the new Power Girl.

great statue, tho I had the same problem as u , the base , tried to put the first part inside and had to wiggle my way hardly , thinking I would just snap the pillar in half . But in the end it fit.

Thanks for the kind words, Edwin! I didn’t even talk in my first couple of statue videos because I assumed I didn’t have the expertise people wanted to hear from these videos. So talking about them is very new to me, but I’m hoping to learn more along the way so I can offer a more informed opinion, along with the same style of first reaction.

6:39 I was so triggered when you said "toys"!

Oh no! Yea...I’ve been noticing myself saying that during editing these videos. I try to take it out or reshoot if I catch it in the moment. I think it’s because I usually film like three videos at a time now, a combo of Hot Toys and PFs, so there are some slips. For example..in my Mr Freeze video I said something like “Hot Toys did a great job here with..blah blah blah” 🙄. Thank god for editing tools!

Tight fitting base is better than loose. Loose will give way to leaning issues and it being more unstable. My Starfire was tight like that too.

Totally agree with you on that. This was just the first time it's every happened to me, and I've heard a few stories of folks who just couldn't peg in some of their pieces (on other statues, not Starfire), so I think I just got a little spooked in the moment. But happy it's all put together, and remaining quite sturdy!

I just received my Starfire piece today....and I also had the issue with the fire base fitting. I'm not ready to display it yet but I just wanted to make sure it was intact and fit together properly. So I did have to push the two base pieces together with a bit of force. Unfortunately now it will not separate to store back in the box! Has anyone else had this problem and if so did you get the two fire pieces apart?? Can't pry them apart with a knife because might scratch the paint. Any suggestions????

@@williamcrawford5558 Hey William - I just ran into the same situation. Unfortunately, I have limited space in my small Bay Area apartment, so Starfire had to be packed away for another day. Same thing, that base was STUCK. What I ended up doing is sort of gripping the seam where the fire extension runs along the fire base with my fingertips. Then I slowly, and lightly tried to wedge my finger tips further into the same while rocking it back and forth a bit (you want to be really careful as to not expand the key hole, or damage the key plug piece. Note: DO NOT pull up on any of the pieces. Given the design, you may end up cracking the fire extension piece by yanking on it.
Lemme know if this helps, if you're still having the issue. Also happy to try and upload an example to google drive or something if needed. Best of luck!

@@NextLevelCollecting It was in so tight there was no moving it out at all. I eventually used the hair dryer idea and heated the area a little and it eventually begin to wiggle and slowly came out. So now it can be stored until I display or sell if I decide to. Anyway thanks for the response!
