I really enjoyed this video. You did really well for just visiting for a few days. A tip to anybody visiting PR: If you are ever presented with the option of flavors on something cold like a snow cone (piragua), smoothie, icee, or juice, opt for something adventurous. Don't go with a safe/familiar choice like strawberry, orange, grape, or cherry. I would recommend something like parcha (passion fruit) or tamarindo. This is the time to try something new. I have a list of things to consider when you go back. 1. Cavernas de Camuy 2. El Faro de Cabo Rojo with adjacent La Playuela (Playa Sucia) 3. A great river/waterfall/swimming spot like Las Tinajas in Ceiba, or Gozalandia in San Sebastian. 4. El Yunque, making sure to include Angelito Trail, Mt Britton Tower, and Juan Diego Falls. 5. A quided tour of South El Yunque, Canon de San Cristobal, and/or Rio Tanama. I used Montana Explora for S El Yunque and Canon de San Cristobal, but there are other options. For Rio Tanama just make sure you select someone that includes Cueva Clara and the underground river tubing which were spectacular. 6. A biobay, ideally Mosquito Bay in Vieques which is the brightest biobay in the world. But there is a good option in Fajardo if you don't want to make the ferry ride, and spend the night in Vieques. Vieques offers a huge selection and variety of beaches to enjoy, so you can enjoy more than just the biobay. 7. Castillo Serralles and Hacienda Buena Vista in Ponce 8. Cueva Ventana and adjacent Cueva Leon 9. Cueva del Indio in Arecibo One last thing: There is a website called Puerto Rico Day Trips, which I love. They've provided so much useful information for me over the last 10+ years. Great resource.
What a fun and informative video. Great tips and I love all the stuff you did. The food looked amazing and you really looked Like you had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing! Can’t wait to visit PR!
PR was incredible, I know I was going to like it but to be honest I loved it! We only went for a short weekend, we will be back for sure. There is so much to do and the food 🤤 definitely try the zip line! Thanks for watching!
I hope you get to visit PR one day soon!! We truly enjoyed this trip, like you said, the food and beaches were 😍 and the people there too were amazing! Looking forward to visiting again as well!
Happy to hear it helped you decide! You two will love it! Not sure when you’ll be going but make sure to check the Puerto Rico travels safe website because new restrictions take effect this week. Enjoy☀️🌴
Awesome thanks! Hope you enjoy your trip! We will be releasing another PR video within the next week. If you’re renting a car from one of those agencies outside the airport make sure to bring your insurance documents because they will try to make you purchase their insurance and it’s not optional with them. Secondly, they check for covid vaccination cards at 99% of the places. If you don’t have one a recent covid exam should work but they are very strict about this in PR.
Thanks for the compliment, so glad you enjoyed! To be honest this was one of the first videos my wife and I did together as a review and we enjoyed it! Thanks for the support 🧡💯
I am traveling to PR later this month and watched your video as an introduction. Thank you for sharing. The video is great. God bless you and stay safe and healthy 😎
Thank you for the kind words, I’m glad this video has helped you out in the planning process. So much to see and do, hope you have an amazing experience like we did ☀️🌴 God bless!
We love you both and this channel. Thank you for giving concise, clear information on fun things to do. We will click the subscribe button since 😀 this was so much fun.
Thank you so much🧡🧡 we’re so happy our video has helped you all! We love creating and helping fellow travelers out! We have more videos coming out soon, thank you for subscribing too ☺️
Parking is terrible!! Luckily we had an Airbnb right next to it so we walked but when we were waiting outside to be seated I was observing the parking lot, like you said, it’s tight!!! I actually had to help a pick up truck back out 😅 Besides that, Bebo’s is 🔥🔥🔥
So glad it’s helped and right on time😅 make sure to take your vaccination card, restaurants will not let you in without one. And upload your negative covid results on this link, they will ask for it after you pick your bags up as you leave the airport ✅ www.travelsafe.pr.gov
@@imOUTtraveling I’ve been there a lot when I was little but last time I was actually there was 7 years ago… now it’s my daughters turn to learn where her Puerto Rican side of the family comes from .. I feel so blessed to show her that! Thanks for your video .. I’m so excited to finally be there
Thank you very much for creating such an awesome video. I am based out of Indiana and am planning to visit Puerto Rico for the first time in December, so this video was amazing! Just a suggestion, it would be helpful if you could also mention the public transportation scene in your videos. As a solo traveler, I would say that information would be really helpful for us. For example, I would know alternative ways to get to Luquillo Beach if I don't have a car. Thanks!
Thank you so much! You bring up a great point! I’ll definitely keep that in mind for other places we visit. Currently I’m in Thailand so I’ll definitely use your suggestion! I hope you enjoy your trip to PR, you’re going to absolutely love it!
Yesss🙌 I can imagine how awesome that must have been. I felt I was in the real Puerto Rico when we were at La Placita! Everyone was just so happy and genuinely nice there! PR in general was so great, can’t wait to go back!
You’re welcome!! I highly recommend renting a car if you truly want to explore a good amount of Puerto Rico. If you’re planning on staying in one central area then probably not however PR has so much to offer that a car would allow you to experience it without worrying about Uber’s or taxi. Renting a car was cheap for us, however we did encounter a little issue. Our rental company NU car rental was trying to make us get their insurance policy and we told them that our CC covers that. They weren’t having it and about 1.5 hours later we were able to leave with our rental car. Mind you their insurance policy was around the price of the actual car rental itself 🤯 My recommendation if you rent a car from anyone and your CC covers your insurance is to have the documentation from your CC printed and emailed to you because to try and do all that from PR will take you forever. You want to go prepared so that they don’t try and force you to get their insurance. Other than that, it was all smooth! Because we had a car we were able to drive to Luquillo beach and even to the zip line activity Toro Verde which were both a good 45 mins from San Juan. Hope this helps, enjoy your vacay✈️
Que interesante. En nuestro canal estamos teniendo una serie completa de la isla de puerto rico. Aguadilla, ponce, cabo rojo, lugares inexplorados, te recomiendo pases y veas los capitulos. Saludos
Thanks for the vídeo definitely gave me more ideas for my trip which is in May will be my second time in P.R. If you don’t mind I have a question are they still requiring a negative covid test result together with vaccination card?
I’ll be honest I wasn’t the most impressed with raices. It was super cute but the food doesn’t compare to smaller mom and pop places. I’m going with my husband and children in august. I’m Puerto Rican he’s Dominican so we are excited for our first family vacation and you intrigued me with the luquillo beach. What’s the name of it so I can save it for the itinerary
10000% agree with you! We went into raices because it looks fun and it was right at the start of old San Juan but you’re correct, there are so many great mom and pop spots to check out over raices. The beach itself is called Luquillo Beach and it’s about a 45 min drive east from San Juan. They have a bunch of kiosks at the start, we didn’t get to eat there because we were hungry but the food looked 😍!! If you don’t eat that’s ok just make sure to get a Piña Colada from a little shack right by the beach around the parking lot area. Your children will love the beach, it’s very clean! Enjoy your vacay ☀️

Every time I travel back to PR, my parents take me to Bebo's. The only problem with the place is the parking. It is tight!
