- Had the opportunity to join Gotham NYC's group ride as we wrap up the Spring Riding season. With over 50 riders, we had everyone from scooters, to EUCs to Surrons, Talaria's and more.

this is more emoto than ebike in that most ebikes wouldn't be able to keep up at those speeds.

While watching this I was thinking how cool it would be to own a ebike that's capable of those speeds, then I suddenly remembered I have a Zero FX sitting in the garage that gets little to no use as it is.
I've been planning to get a bike like this for some time now, but have wondered does the NYPD care about these bikes? Like if you rode past them unregistered would they pull you over?
In NYC they don't care. I've even seen some Surron and Talaria riders wheelie past them and they don't bat an eye. I would say just don't do anything stupid like hit a pedestrian or something like that.

Could a stock surron survive one of these group rides and make it back home commuting from queens?
Referring to the range on stock battery
If you bring your charger with you you should be fine. Stock Surrons run with us a lot of the times and sometimes these rides have charging points. The 20 mile and under rides should be fine but anything 30+ def bring the charger.

There's not much space in the frame now after adding the 50ah pack which is why I had to keep my Fardriver on the outside. It's in there pretty snug at the moment.

Yes sir, been tuned since we installed the Fardriver and DKD display. This is GPS matched.
