I'm Brazilian and I follow your videos they are amazing and it would be cool if you made a video about Brazilian food like brigadeiro, coxinha, pão de queijo, pastel de carne moída, bolo de cenoura com cobertura de chocolate and feijoada. Your videos are relaxing, thanks 🇧🇷
what's interesting about red velvet cakes, is that because chocolate bars were more expensive in the 1930s, bakers used raw cocoa instead. the reaction in the cocoa to the acidity of buttermilk made the batter turn more crimson. while not insanely red like known, it's still kinda cool how the chemicals reacted into a color change from chocolate brown to a rusty color.
I find it funny how the thumbnail looks like it's gonna be one of those videos where someone just shouts at you all the time and you click on it and it's complete silence. Nice vid!

@@patriciaarteaga658 that's true, but i meant it as 10 decades, as in he counts from 1920s, 1930, 1940, 1950, etc, to 2010s which comes to 10 decades of cakes. Thats the explanation i could think of but its true its officially not 100 years

Ummm that was up to 2010 and the last one looked the lest appetizing... Not to sound like a jerk, but you could've at least put in the name of the cakes, or shown the type of batter/icing/glaze you were using.

You put so much work into your videos. I really appreciate it. I can’t eat any of those foods, but I love watching you eat them and cook them.😊😊😊
Why can't you?😢
Throating cakes & pies off a knife is wild😭
Diabetes can kill you. And those cakes look delicious regardless.
3:42 increíble cake 💖

Looks so good.
That baker is so talented.
That Broken Glass cake from the 1960’s was made a little more sloppily than we made them back in day. It’s quite a showpiece when done right.
Talk about hard work wow, subscribed
La primera torta todavía se hace en Argentina, se le llama torta invertida se suele hacer con manzanas o con durazno
My favorite cake in your video is the Cheesecake. The best cake in general is the Millionnaire's Shortbread ❤
I like strawberry shortcakes, but also like anything with cream cheese or chocolate.
plz keep making videos like this🙏♥️
13:24 that’s a good Black Forest cake
The cake from 1960 looks like the one Good Mythical Morning tried in their International Jelly Taste Test video on Monday
I'm sorry, friend, but gelatin is not cake
I love this guy
Tiramisu is a Dessert, not a Cake.
You are wrong Tiramisu is a cake
Your both wrong @Poland730 they are both a desert and cake
cake is also a dessert, what's your point?
and hot dogs are tacos and all attempts to classify anything is ultimately futile

This is REAL asmr!
Le dernier gâteau a l'air super bon 😋
I have to point out. Is no one gonna tell him that 1920-2010 is NOT 100 years?
you count per 10 years, so he counts the 1920, 1930, 1940 etc. Thats how you get 100 years (10 x a decade).
THAT'S FREAKING 90 YEARS NOT 100. 100 is like 1920-2020 or 1910-2010
@@patriciaarteaga658 that's true, but i meant it as 10 decades, as in he counts from 1920s, 1930, 1940, 1950, etc, to 2010s which comes to 10 decades of cakes. Thats the explanation i could think of but its true its officially not 100 years

Though I have never had any, I have read that Turkish delight is delicious.
If you mean Lokum, it's not amazing. You mainly taste sugar. But the Baklava (filo pastry with honey and all kind of nuts) is awesome !
