I remember going in the late 80's. There was a large spiral ramp in the mall that you could walk from the first floor to the 2nd floor (and back down). There was also a Whataburger in the mall that had horse saddles as seats.
Yes that can be sad, all our memories of places we enjoyed in the past slowly disappearing, but you never know what the future may bring for these places.
the name "Ridgmar MALL" didn't tell you it was a mall?! yes, a dead mall, when the Neiman-Marcus pulled out it was kaput but the decline was steady throughout 2K-2010 as Carswell closed and became a reserve base, a lot of the retail moved out & N up TX183 around the WalMart
It will probably be demolished in the future, and replaced with a townhome or mixed-use development. This was the fate of North Hills Mall on Grapevine Highway of North Richland Hills, Texas.

Sad to see a mall of my youth dying.

Ikr! It was rather annoying how many times he said in complete disbelief he didn't know it was a mall. Huh??
Right, that's because I was going to the aquarium - I did not know it was a mall until I got there - the disbelief lingered! ha ha.@@davidm3493
I took a photo on that bridge where the turtles are at like 20yrs ago 😂
That is a long time back : O )
3:37 I swear I took a picture with those turtles 19 years ago
It could be, turtle can live a very long time.
I worked at that mall back in the early 90s. It's gone downhill ever since. Won't be long and it will be abandoned

Replace it with a mexican mall and it will be full again lol
