- After a grueling campaign period, Joh Gachora was elected chairman of the Young Farmers Club in high school. It was a big win for him and his campaign team. He’d now have the power to choose who attends the prestigious Nairobi ASK Show among other chairman-ly duties. The only thing remaining to crown this win was the pride in his father’s face when he announced his win to him during the holidays.
That was not to be. John shares stories from his youth and the experiences that shaped him and those that he carries to date.

I loved how he said that love sometimes needs translators. It makes a lot of sense.
Great orator! Very inspirational, I love the vivid description on his childhood!
Thank you for this- John Gachora. I especially like the part of your mother being a love translator. Be blessed.

Love makes the world go round 👏👏👏
You are not good enough can be a motivating factor but to others is just the last nail on their withered hopes. What if it is said you can do better?
Wow. Such an inspiring story. The proud son of a farmer. Thank you for sharing your story Sir.
Fathers speak destiny, mothers are the love translators. When you do things well, you expect to be cheered. The words we receive are as full of love, listen and think through them.
Great story! Great to hear from you John, and Engage talk for bringing him on here.
