Miami vice was a shit movie... in 2007 or whenever it was released, I rented it on dvd ... watched 20 minutes of it and left it back same day. Didnt get my money back from what i remember, though it was like 15 jaysus years ago now
Well if Colin is reading this. You are way better without the booze. I saw you on Jonathen Ross a while back. You were a bit nervous - but a gorgeous soul you are. Your're like meself - typically Irish - and GORGEOUS :-)
Very well said. i do agree. He did great in Alexander. He was magnificent in the movie and so perfect. I was so shocked when I came to know that it received too many bed reviews. I just don't get it. I watched it so many times that i lost count. Farrell's prominent presence in the movie makes it worth watching
Colin is so good and careful, ok we all know HE IS THE HOTTEST MAN ON THE WORLD, but he has a side that we don't konw, like writing poetry.... every time i look at him, he just seems more and more.......out of this world
A good Irishman: Very intelligent, analytical and very verbal! Funny to contrast this with an interview Rose once did with a very silent Daniel Day-Lewis!
Sorry Mano0obe, we don't just like him because he's good-looking, it's because he's bloody talented. Ever seen 'Phone Booth'? Ever seen 'The Recruit'? How about 'Tigerland'? Oliver Stone said that he feels that people judge Colin unfairly because he's good-looking, and thanks for showing that's true. With Colin, if you took his looks away, you'd be left with raw talent. Oh and by the way, if you don't like him, wtf are you doing watching a video with him in it?
true in certain parts. but colin spends alot of time there and is clearly influence by it. like you wouldnt say that about someone from Donegal or Kerry
I agree. People have this hideous mania of flattering someone by knocking someone - or something- else. How the hell does Rose know if the guy did Miami Whatever for the money or the script?
what a lovely alcoholic. i like how he says he writes poetry about how life affects him how life doesn't affect him hhaha that's cool. i love how straight guys on here say they'd do him, that's hOTT. he turns srt8 guys into well let's go for it. that's cool. i did his astrology chart. he has some deep sorrow in him, that is very real, that comes across in his acting. he is a great actor. just saw him in Odine. go Collin!
I was pissed when he did Miami Vice. It was one of the worst movies i've ever seen. But In Bruge is one of the best movies i've ever seen and one of the best performance's Colling has ever put out and i hope he learned a lot from it and keeps on picking scripts like that one :D
Only in America! 2/3 rd.s of the gross was from World-wide viewings. The DVD's sold 8 million copies, and 2 historians actually wrote a book about Stone's film. I have all 3 of the DVD versions...loved Alexander since I was in primary school, and thin Colin's Alexander was much better than Richard Burton's version [1955]. Even the historian's who wrote that book mention that fact.
i honestly dont know much about colin, he never to has blown to impress such as what he's talking about or much with some of his movies, but obviously he's of a higher standard of wealth and appeal. so seriously peppino, unless you can out class him at his best i would probably watch my running tounge!
Miami Whatever. Lmao. You know, I probably would never have given that a second thought until after the Hot Ones interview. But it actually is very rude, and seeing that that obviously stayed with Farrell after a decade was humanising.
right behind the lucky charms guy and the notre dame mascot he's the most famous irishman in the US... that's not dissing the US, its on colin to step it up by making magically delicious cereal or being overrated in the big ten.
I am looking for footage on Colin Ferrell. He is a former defensive tackle for Kent State who signed with the Indianapolis Colts as a rookie free agent.
@WinchesterRanger If your remark about the UK was prompted by my admiration of of European culture, your way off the mark, I'm not Brit. As far as tobacco chewing, well, speak for yourself. I would bet you don't indulge in chewing at all. The defination of a Hollywood film's success is did the film make a profit. It did. If you are intrested in how Colin Farrell felt about the film {which you're not] see Colin Farrell at the Rome Film Fest 2008. Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Plummer, were great,
he's brilliant, alrite! ;) he is human, tho and seems perfect but struggles with the same everyday shite that you and i do...he'd be the first to disagree with yer perfection comments! lol peace!
and about the stetson hat - its not the same as your average joe's paddy cap being left in his ex-birds gaf - its an iconic piece of memorabilia - he probably wanted it cause it reminded him of when u2 were good
What the fuck is up with the guy's hand on the table at 00:40 - 00:43 ?? Looks like he has it just close enough to Colin's but not too much to hold it....lol....
Just came here after watching his interview in Hot Ones, "Miami whatever" hahahah he was right
Ha, ditto. That was great.
same here!
Here after the Hot Ones interview where Colin said Charlie didn’t give a fuck enough to look up the name of the film he’s in.
I came here after Colin's Hot Ones interview lol
Here after Hot Ones "Miami, whatever," lol
Here after watching the ending of Hot Ones, I was just curious.
If you came here from Hot Ones, 1:18 is what you’re looking for
He's absolutely brilliant in In Bruges. Genius.
For those who watched the Hot Ones interview, jump into 1:19 .
Here from 'The Hot Ones' for the 'Miami Whatever' comment. 🤣 🤣 Charlie *really* stretches himself to know everything about the interviewee.
The best looking man in movies. And genuine to listen to. Just awesome.
and then theres colin farrell
This is the first time I've heard him talk outside of a film, and what do you know? He is reeeeally Irish. Awesome!
He’s Irish and we adore him 🇮🇪🇮🇪
Hot ones brought me here
The difference between this interview and Sean's interview is huge
"Miami Whatever" ? I thought Miami Vice was a great movie, and Farrell was great in it.
Miami vice was a shit movie... in 2007 or whenever it was released, I rented it on dvd ... watched 20 minutes of it and left it back same day. Didnt get my money back from what i remember, though it was like 15 jaysus years ago now
Miami Whatever??
Hot One's brought me here.
He is definitely underrated..
He's amazing.
theresa bollman This was a PBS show and it's impossible to buy....would love to read his poetry...
He was FANTASTIC in the film "In Bruges."

THE BEST LOOKING MAN IN HOLLYWOOD
How many people came here after that Hot Ones episode ?
gorgeous and intelligent
Collin is just perfect in every way!
i love him :)
Well if Colin is reading this. You are way better without the booze. I saw you on Jonathen Ross a while back. You were a bit nervous - but a gorgeous soul you are. Your're like meself - typically Irish - and GORGEOUS :-)
here from hot ones
Underrated actor
this was a excellent point for him to return to film...very wise choice. solid movie with gr8 dilogue + absolutely amazing performances.
colin really looks like the perfect man. hes so hot, writes poetry, and is down to earth. id marry him any day. or atleast meet him :]
im irish and proud:)
Tigerland... what a fantastic film. Without sound too harsh- Farrell needs to find rolls where hes capable of displaying his immense talent.
Hot Ones, whatever.
he needs to do more films like In Bruges
Very well said. i do agree. He did great in Alexander. He was magnificent in the movie and so perfect. I was so shocked when I came to know that it received too many bed reviews. I just don't get it. I watched it so many times that i lost count. Farrell's prominent presence in the movie makes it worth watching
Bijoya chakraborty bed reviews are just the worst
actingfreakification lol😊 but "bathroom reviews" would be much more worse... I guess
@SaraZee67 yeah, he's a thinker, a worrier. you can tell. and I'm not being sarcastic either :)
Colin is so good and careful, ok we all know HE IS THE HOTTEST MAN ON THE WORLD, but he has a side that we don't konw, like writing poetry.... every time i look at him, he just seems more and more.......out of this world

Oh and by the way, if you don't like him, wtf are you doing watching a video with him in it?
I was going to write more or less the same thing... he's amazing... so intelligent and pretty...
look at the guy interviewing him at 42 seconds...he looks like he is trying to hold his hand or something haha
Colin for the win, writing poetry for the introspective aspect.
@tomada36
Martin McDonough. He wrote and directed In Bruges.
I could listen to Colin Farrell talk for friggin ever. His accent is so damn sexy.
@copter44 I take it from your comment you don't know who Charlie Rose is. He really doesn't need actors to pay his bills, I promise.
totally underrated
Miami whatever... yeah, really NOT insulting...
true in certain parts. but colin spends alot of time there and is clearly influence by it. like you wouldnt say that about someone from Donegal or Kerry
keep pressing 3!
love Colin.
ooohhh i didn't know that..interesting
Did he go to Clongo's?
I liked him in the New World, Daredevil and the Recruit. There was almost too much of him in In Bruges.
He took a tramp off the street, took him on a 2000$ shopping spree, and let him ride around in a limo with him for a day once. What a cool guy
listen at 0:45 seconds how he just doesn't know what to say.... it's hilarious haha
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL at the angry man at 00:12! wtf
1:19
Thank you!
Came here from Hot ones, just as ferrel mentioned, a Bad one this interview what this is
0:13 LOLOLOL ROFLCOPTER
Colin is a fine Irishman!
fucking seriously
when i saw that i was like wtf is he doing in this video?
lmao
@yazmatraz I think that makes him more genuine, don't you think?
he is just a lad from north dublin, whats the big deal ?
I agree. People have this hideous mania of flattering someone by knocking someone - or something- else. How the hell does Rose know if the guy did Miami Whatever for the money or the script?
¡¡Qué guapo está Colin Farrell!! ¡¡Está para comérselo!!
what a lovely alcoholic.
i like how he says he writes poetry about how life affects him how life doesn't affect him hhaha that's cool. i love how straight guys on here say they'd do him, that's hOTT. he turns srt8 guys into well let's go for it. that's cool. i did his astrology chart. he has some deep sorrow in him, that is very real, that comes across in his acting. he is a great actor. just saw him in Odine. go Collin!
Colin was in the final six candidates for Boyzone.
I was pissed when he did Miami Vice. It was one of the worst movies i've ever seen. But In Bruge is one of the best movies i've ever seen and one of the best performance's Colling has ever put out and i hope he learned a lot from it and keeps on picking scripts like that one :D
τον αγαπαωω!!!!!!!!!!!
Miami whatever

@soape34 I know a lot of Irish guys who would disagree with that.
"Miami whatever" haha
he is milo o'shea's love grandchild- it is all in the eyebrows
his accent...ahhh...his accent!!
colin farrell looks just like
treat williams when he was young.
i honestly dont know much about colin, he never to has blown to impress such as what he's talking about or much with some of his movies, but obviously he's of a higher standard of wealth and appeal. so seriously peppino, unless you can out class him at his best i would probably watch my running tounge!
wow, his voice sounds rly rly rly low in this interview than he usu. is...
was vey good in on bguuegs
Miami Whatever. Lmao. You know, I probably would never have given that a second thought until after the Hot Ones interview. But it actually is very rude, and seeing that that obviously stayed with Farrell after a decade was humanising.
For the homophobes on here Colin was best man at his older gay brother's wedding.
Well that would be tougher
1:04 :D
i dont believe where your from or where you went to school determines your intelligence.
@WinchesterRanger Nothing disasterous about Alexander. It did fine in Europe where people are more cultured.
right behind the lucky charms guy and the notre dame mascot he's the most famous irishman in the US...
that's not dissing the US, its on colin to step it up by making magically delicious cereal or being overrated in the big ten.
He seems just nervous during interviews...
miami whatever comes out this friday doesn't it?

@0:13 ROFL
an irishman that writes poetry?
He's a good actor. But what does he do. Turn the Irish accent on and off like water coming out of a faucet. ?
he's brilliant, alrite! ;) he is human, tho and seems perfect but struggles with the same everyday shite that you and i do...he'd be the first to disagree with yer perfection comments! lol peace!
and about the stetson hat - its not the same as your average joe's paddy cap being left in his ex-birds gaf - its an iconic piece of memorabilia - he probably wanted it cause it reminded him of when u2 were good
Because most people's minds are messed up
he was quite uncomfortable to watch
His Irish accent is thick.... haha
What the fuck is up with the guy's hand on the table at 00:40 - 00:43 ?? Looks like he has it just close enough to Colin's but not too much to hold it....lol....
Hey copper115, what was he like?
Coolest white man alive.
Not really The General American Accent is quite neutral and not so difficult to pick up
