Great list. It was a lot of fun to watch. What's nice about the 7* pool is that you can make a list like this without things feeling terribly bloated. It's a lot more easily viewable than a normal tier list with all available champions in it.
I would definitely put Black Cat among the Tier Above All, especially since you already have Falcon there. To me, she is (in 90% of all cases) an upgraded version of him. She takes a little while to ramp up her DAAR compared to Falcon's instant lock-on mechanic, but once it's up, it's a lot more reliable than Falcon's since it doesn't fall off as quickly. I prefer Falcon when it comes to countering evade champions or instant-damage stuff like Hazard Shift or Electros, but other than that I think Black Cat has him beat in nearly every scenario. And this isn't even mentioning the relic, which elevates her even further.
I dislike tooting my own horn but I have some videos on my channel where I showcase a lot of what she can do, whether it's preventing Grandmaster's Gauntlet Nick Fury from ever going unblockable during the fight, countering a bunch of tough mystics, or evading special attacks as if she was Silk (although she does need max sig in order to do that reliably, so perhaps that piece of utility is not too relevant for the 7*). There's a reason why I r5'd her before any other Skill champ, and why she was my first ascended 6* champion. I have no regrets about either of those things. 😍

People forget that HB is a very important synergy for Ultron , both of them being 7* is very good for questing
At this point how much questing are you doing , and do u really need 7 star counterparts

Awesome Video Vega!!! I ended up taking Knull to Rank 3. He is INSANE!! Damage is crazy! I also think Kushala will end up in the TAA. I have her 6* at R4 and she is absolutely amazing.

Had a great cyber. Decided to open one more Titan yesterday. I like Knull, warlock, Juggs quite a lot and best way to get them.

And he’s not unique in needing awakening. Many many 7 stars do. Angela has almost no use unawakened.
So many more. And you’ve been saying for quite sometime sig 20 might be amazing. Certainly sig 40. I guess on the flip side, every sig will make him much better.
He is fun. I’ve many 7 stars waiting for awakening. I use my rank 4 Attuma sig 200 over the not awake 7 star. One of many examples.
When he goes to basic….it will be a great pull…..
Hey Vega, thanks for the vid. There is something I really want you to take note of:
Angela, at sig 20, requires 7 buffs to have -100% nullify and auto block aa and -100% damaging debuff duration. Odin + the Thor relic means you can have 7 buffs on you for the whole fight after gaining 1 bar of power.
Obviously, higher sig = better (especially if you need more than 100% aa reduction), but Angela does not require high sig to have her utility. All you need is to bring her Odin and a Thor relic. Those are her best synergy partner and her best relic combo respectively. And, as noted in this list, bringing Odin in your team is no punishment!

I've been going down the mantis rabbit hole on the channel. Never had her aa a 6* but finally got a 7* and my opinion has definitely has changed.
Just a thought, on your spreadsheet, maybe freeze the panel so that the legend stays on screen while you are moving from class to class. You have all these great icons but no point of reference after you have completed the first class.

Hey Vega. Just completed my first path in Necrop. Pulled a R3 Skill gem. I only have a R2 sig 60 Falcon. Do you know if he could do any paths in Necrop? Would he counter attuma maybe? that fight seems to be my road block without a Shuri.
Vega, i promise you, if i ever dupe IMIW, ill send you the solos i do with him in necropolis. He was my main clear in Abyss and he is stupidly slept on imo
Vega , I am going to do Necropolis with my R4 Kate , R2 America 7*, R4 Adam and Abs , in under 70 revives or 2k units . I am going to do this and show that this can be done , wish me luck !

It’s funny I was so pissed when I pulled Spider Gwen but she’s been one of my favorites and second R2. I never realized how crazy her uptime on enervate was to nearly power lock the entire fight. Plus the slow, auto evade unblockable specials, and stun that shuts down healing. I went from naively feeling cursed to considering her as a Rank 3 😂
She was one of my 4* MVPs. Sadly pulled her too late at 5* and 6*. Hopefully, I get her at 7* soon. She hits like a truck, too.
Have her at r2…yep amazing champ. Took awhile for me to pull as a 6 star, so never ranked.
Which made it even better. And the day I duped her Facebook memories of my daughter in a Spidergwen outfit came up.
The universe truly spoke 😂 (she’s also very good). I also have awakened Mysterio at r2. Now Peni coming out. But I found she doesn’t need Peni. At least as a 7 star.
They clearly modeled Silk after her. Both are great and different strengths. She’s a utility monster, Gwen. And very good damage.
About to take my 7* Wong to r3 as we speak. Always enjoyed him but using him in Necropolis clinched it.
Where would you place Sandman on this list? Super Premium like on your 6-star list?? I will soon have all the materials I need to R5 my first 6 champ (Nimrod); or save a little bit more and R2 my awakened Sandman I got from this years GBCs.
When did Shocker come out? Cause I don’t see him on this video. Did he come out after this video?

How come Crossbones doesn’t need an awakening or high sig as a 7*?

100% listen to people when they say you play better with your favorite, the timing and spacings are different for every champion so at the end of the day it's whatever you like playing that you'll be better at even if they are considered lower tier, as long as you're familiar with them they'll be better than one you are not familiar with or don't enjoy.
Who would you rank 2, Domino or Bishop ?

Coming back for another comment - re: Gambit - if I were to dupe him and pull a mutant 2-3 gem I would probably take him up. There's a 4k difference in prestige between my r3 Spider Ham, and a r3 s20 Gambit. Combine that with the ability to draw bans in BGs (6* relic) and helping to set myself up for other non prestige rank ups I could see him being worth a class rank up gem. I would not however use the necropolis generic rank up gem and/or my first set of t4a on him.
Peni with the increased power rate is gonna be really interesting
Does CivilWarrior have another buff coming?? He's so close to being great. Just a few tweaks and he'd be such a more playable character. He's one of my faves to play, but dang, he could really use a bit of a boost.

Hey Vega heres the deal, i got the 6* ascended photon. Now i pull 7* Photon. Is she worth r3 unduped if i have ascended sig 200. Her sig seems to have a lot of the defense value

Vega, I opened two titan crystals and pulled Spot twice. Not sure how I feel about it because I have never used him.

When you update this chart it's been 2 months now.
I've put this series now into my general monthly tier list. There are so many 7 stars available now that it felt like the right time.
I wish that the champs they went back and reworked and buffed actually all were actually like good. Like gambit, war machine, miles, etc. they were changed and basically didn’t get much better. So like why waste the time? They should have put the care into each champ like they did with Hulk, iron man, spider-man. It’s just a bummer.

Spreading out roster power like that seems like a viable BG strategy. Either ban the champs I like playing the most or ban the highest ranked champs, but u don't get both!

@@Vega583 well at least bump joe lol. I have a duped r2 and he shreds. He has more utility than meets the eye i feel like and his regen is very strong. I’ll definitely check out bitter steels spidey video though.

Hulkbuster is up there with Shuri for me. Max combat power rate and a striker on HB makes it so easy to cycle sp2 with him. I’m surprised they allowed for that power control as a 7* when we can’t get 6* Magik.
I pulled a skill 2-3 gem and ranked sig 20 Falcon. Boring champ that I won’t mind if he gets banned, but he was already winning BG fights in one locked on cycle at r2.
100% agreed. Hes my first r3 and I have no qualms ranking hb over shuri. 100% right call for me.
Iron man lacks immunities too much to be in that first tier, imo. And id rather have everyone in tier 2 plus howard over IM. Bitter has to be taken with a grain of salt bc once he fixates on a champ hes going to wring out every drop of usage from them... but bc he sees EVERYTHING on that champ, he tends to be blind to how fragile they are for a lot of things, and how much better other champs at those things.
I might be exaggerating a little with the champs in tier 2 but not much, if at all.
I don't even have Iron man, i've just seen what others have been doing with him and how they've been using him. He's being used to great effect in T1 war and BGs, and questing.
My question is this though, how is Iron Man lacking immunities? He's immune to Coldsnap, Frostbite and Incinerate with an armour up that cannot be removed by nullify, neutralise or any other AAR by non cosmics. Your example of HTD only has one immunity, bleed. I don't understand the distinction
@@bittersteel7362 wait he has trips immunities? I must have just taken him on a bad path b/c I thought he did, then had a bad run with him and figured I must have been misreading him. I'll have go to back and reconsider then.
Overall they really did a pretty great job on the initial pool. I feel in 5 out of 6 classes. Science and Mystic were spectacular.
I’ve taken Gwen to rank 2 and she’s awesome. And many say weakest in science. That’s how great science pool is.
Tech though….. Shuri great. Then huge drop off. For me only other rank 2 is Mysterio. I did rank 2 him.
Big disappointment. Other classes in between.
I’m really channeling you more on rank who you want. And also prioritizing champs that I hadn’t ranked past rank 3 as 6 stars. To some extent.
Broke that rule on Titania and Bishop. I LOVE Sorc Supreme. She’s so solid in her control and work around. Not great in BG.
But slept on. Especially with scarlet witch relic. Phenomenal control over fights. Tanky if played well.
If I awaken her (not needed) she’s on my list. The problem is like everyone, resources, and champs compete against one another.
That was my only small complaint on OG Spidey. Great buff. But buffs are infrequent enough now, they need to be good enough that people will rank them. For some his buff is that worthy.
Know your a fan. Overall happy with the release pool. Mystic and science both As. Tech C at best. Say others B. Some misses in each of the other 3. The ones were people, including me, keeping them at r1 forever.
Aarkus in the same tier as vtd? NO ONE should be in the same tier as vtd. He needs his own separate tier “absolutely useless tier” 😂🤣.

I just listened and while I don’t agree I can see your point. My Hyperion will definitely go to r3. If I can r3 a cosmic it’ll be very hard to pick between him, Odin and Venom.
CMM should be in call. Just stinks. She was "good" when she came out bc there were like 5 total good cosmics and then was immediately drastically outclassed by every released cosmic champ and every buffed cosmic champ since. A lot of her initial value was due to taking fights like act 6 mr S boss, fights that we now have a huge amount of options for.
Basically a ramp up champ who doesnt stay ramped up if AI doesnt cooperate but whose rampup is kind of unrewarding, and who has 1 immunity; almost 0 utility, and who evaporates if there is a mystic within 5 lanes is bad and should not be considered unless a player loves the champ.
At least vtd's ramp does something and he doesnt spontaneously combust from the mystic class existing.
Ok, right off the bat, Wong's placement is a joke when he is the champ with most solos in Necropolis. And he is a dual threat and definitely not for long fights only. Also, Spot is massively overrated and Emma Frost massively underrated. That's all.
Necropolis has been out less than a week. Is it possible Wong might move up in next month's rankings? (Vega said as much in this video).
