  • One of the greatest kickboxing fights to date. An amazing display of distance management by Chingaz using various techniques. Mixing and finding the correct moment of when to use power vs tempo change, movement vs engagement and finally the constant variation of exits were beautiful.

Brad thanks for the video, you inform my training very much. I was amazed at how free and easy Allazov was finding attacks to throw at Grigorian. Also a little disappointing that Marat Grigorian showed clearly the weakness in his constant come-forward style in his previous match vs superbon and how he sort of didn't develop anything new to deal with teeps and knees.

      This is Marat style
Though. His entire career has been like this so I think at this stage he will find it hard to change or adapt . Chingaz has always been very diverse with both attack and defense

Feel like Chingiz is probably the "best" offensive kickboxer I've seen, just feels like he's too well schooled and conditioned for almost anyone to beat his current form. Kinda reminds me of Andy Ristie except way more considered and focused with his stance switching, movement and offense. Love watching him fight and loved the breakdown!

I agree . He’s very good defensively as well. Just in a different aspect right. Like he maintains distance with offense which is a form or defensive . he has prevention, and very good evasive footwork .

@bradquakeriddell for sure, I just kinda wanted to differentiate him from a Petrosyan or more Thai style of kickboxing focusing on taking things away through defense then using your tools. Chingiz has great defense I feel like he's just more focused on putting shots on people and keeping them so mixed up that they don't even get to test his defense. Feel like Marat was the rare case recently that managed to even make it far enough where we could see that Chingiz can switch it up and manage his energy for 5 and still keep the offense slick and aggressive.

Keep up the good work so much value in ur videos it’s unbelievable. Do u reckon u could make a video on how to break rhythm I’ve noticed Volk does this very well but I don’t understand the details of how it’s actually done
