  • A man who was the victim of an armed carjacking in Markham, Ont., is speaking out about his harrowing experience after police released video of the dramatic takedown of the suspects.
“The gun he pointed at my stomach is loaded - so I’m glad I’m still alive,” the man, who did not want to be identified, said.
An 18-year-old man and a male youth, from Toronto, were charged with a number of offences including two counts of robbery with a firearm, two counts of disguise with intent, possession of a loaded restricted firearm, dangerous operation and flight from police.
    Catherine McDonald reports.

We had our slightly used 2022 Acura RDX stolen last year a few weeks after it was bought. Acura refused to locate it despite the fact that the previous owner paid for the service for the year. If it wasn’t for Toronto Police services intervening, we would have never had gotten it back. We now have not only Acura’s gps locator but our insurance’s gps locator installed as well. The worst part was that Acura took 10 months to repair the damages all while we had to continue paying for insurance
