In this session, we are discussing,
1)What is Camber in Road Construction?
The slop which comes in the transverse direction of the road is known as Camber Slope. The main purpose of the camber slope is to drain off the rainwater from the road surface. The camber slope is also known as the cross slope of the road.
2)What is Gradient Road Construction?
The rate of slopes comes in the longitudinal direction with respect to the horizontal is known as Gradient.
3)Difference Between Camber & Gradient?
The difference between Camber & Gradient is that the camber is a curve or a bump on the surface of the road in the transverse direction while on the other hand Gradient is a smooth slope.
