- The upcoming Broadway production of ROMEO + JULIET has released a new music video to the Bleachers song “Tiny Moves,” with a first look at Kit Connor and Rachel Zegler as Romeo and Juliet.
ROMEO + JULIET will begin performances on Thursday, September 26, 2024 and officially open on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theatre (1633 Broadway) for a strictly limited, 16-week engagement.
OMEO + JULIET will star Kit Connor (“Heartstopper”) and Golden Globe Award winner Rachel Zegler (Spielberg’s West Side Story), and is directed by Tony Award winner Sam Gold, with music by Grammy Award winner Jack Antonoff and movement by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh. Additional casting will be announced soon.

Kit is no longer the boy from Get Santa or Rocketman. Neither ishe the developing twink from S1 and S2 of Heartstopper. He is a young man in S3 and Romeo and Juliet. He is fit and in fact a little bit of pudge on him is attractive. Keep developing for your roles Kit and stay golden.

It's definitely unusual for plays to have trailers like this. I'm hoping this is a sign that there will be a recorded performance. I want to be able to see it! I can't afford a trip to New York, but I can afford to buy or rent the movie somewhere to show support. I would have love to see Joe in Sweeney Todd too.
