MGC II: Venezuela vs Colombia

This is the third edition of Motion Graphics Comparison II, this time taking place in South America. This video shows the evolution of Venezuelan and Colombian graphics from film logos, television idents, TV intros, overtime. This one is much closer and competitive, unlike the first two editions.

Venezuelan follower here. I absolutely love your channel. Unfortunately I had to admit my country's defeat in terms of graphic quality or innovation in the last 10 years.

Eso es lo malo en muchas ocasiones en los países en dictadura (En chile la verdad el canal del gobierno TVN Chile en 1984 se lucio con las gráficas y estába muy adelantado a la época por lo que fue removido al antiguo logo)

Lo peor que el logo era demasiado Facista y al ser el canal de la dictadura fue bastante Criticado y todos los canales tenían que tener un televisor con las letras

Y la verdad es que Venevision es el que mejor se luce en la Gráficas de los canales en Venezuela en los 70s - 2000s

It's more sad to see a country who was a reference to television quality and expansion, and now is just a Latin American country with poor and cheap graphics.

That's so close encounter! Venezuela led in graphics before hyperinflation, which resulted in passing-over by Colombia. Colombia won minimally, then in score 333-355.

Seeing important differences, one of them is that venezuelan tv companies were mostly influenced by US-Style of graphic design, but colombian ones, thanks to Inravision were influenced by european ones (mainly dutch if you look well in detail). Although both countries had so pretty cool designs, I can say also the quality was better when both countries got more economic resources on production.

I will say this, Venezuela has a very cool ident, but hyperinflation unfortunately hit the designers’ pockets. Although even despite this, the same Venevision and Televen still make beautiful idents, while other TV channels began to use a template or an overly cheap design.

Brazilian follower speaking. I absolutely LOVED the intro to the first iteration of Motion Graphics Comparison. You used Abril Video's intro theme, and then another one I don't know, but I thought capped off the introduction BRILLIANTLY.
I wish you could go back to that in future videos, it was simply awesome.

Are you sure that 2:43 is from 1975?
Because Colombia didn't have coloured television until 1979.

In 1975 there was some broadcasting in specific slots, but in 1979 was in full time
