Prime Batista, world heavyweight title and white suit 😍 one of the greatest
This guy gets it 👏
With Saliva blasting "I walk for miles inside this pit of danger" good times 🥲
@@sheriffdraws8789ugh the good ol' days😢
2005-2007 was peak Batista!
@@markfroman738 People fail to realize that Batista was more peak in Evolution, so it's 03-07
@@theindiandragon4821 nooooo
He entered Pro Wresrling when he was like 31 and became a star when he was 36.
He started movies when he was 37 and by the age of 45 became a Hollywood star.
Its never too late ro start a career and never too late to peak in your career.
Amen
Batista is definitely the best actor to come out of the WWE. He can play anything from a scary bond villain to a creepy cult leader or even a sweet guy who does comedy. His range is crazy.
yup , meanwhile the rock just plays himself in every movie. He was great in fast five though but after that he just started marking out for himself
@@djt8870 The Rock is a great actor, he just keeps playing baby face over and over and over again. His best work is as a heel IMO. Wish we got more villain Rock on the big screen. Black Adam was his chance, and he flubbed it.
Don’t think many people expected his acting career to take off how it did and by that I mean not just direct to dvd, actual top Hollywood level movies.
I think the potential of what his career could become was different from the past because by the time he left to pursue acting full time Dwayne Johnson had broken through to demonstrate that it was possible to have some drawn out success transitioning to Hollywood, although he wasn’t anything near what he did become in terms of rising to Hollywoods highest paid actor. So I think by that time people could eee that it was possible to succeed with it but obviously there was no realistic expectation that he’d become a major level name in Hollywood.
But I think in hindsight people see his career as more of a complete positive than how things actually were because until Guardians he wasn’t landing much of any roles and the ones he did land were those direct to dvd movies. And even after he got guardians most of the roles he did have after were small budget stuff until 2017 or so where he started being in bigger movies outside of guardians alone. I remember hearing an interview he did where he spoke about getting advice about not taking a ton of B movie roles because if he took too many of them then he’d relegated to only being considered at that level and how he struggled like he did because he stuck to that as much as he could and how hard it was when money wasn’t flowing in to not take paying projects as he tried to push to get those better roles and how guardians saved everything.
The thing that I find the coolest about his acting career isn’t that he was able to become a known star like he did but that he’s taken an approach to expand his range as an actor in the roles he takes and how he had sought out more challenging roles that will help him grow in his talent over seeking the biggest budget roles where he would probably be set in one type of role and just pump out the same stuff generally all the time for the check. That’s largely what occurred with the rock, and I don’t fault it, but once he really hit that mega level he hasn’t really taken many roles that expand his range but primarily been a similar type of character in most of the projects he does that are the biggest money stuff. I don’t fault that but it’s neat to see a Batista who has taken a path of almost appreciating acting as an art and wanting to have a wide range rather than chasing a path of simply cashing in as much as possible.
Well he still is just a B-List actor. Not a Star as Rock
the fact we never got a batista vs brock match
In OVW we did. Better than nothing I guess
they made one in ovw (dave won) and another dark match in early 03 (brock won).
Brock would legitimately kill Dave.
@@josephtwilley7187r u kidding?
@@josephtwilley7187Why do people always say this? We know that Brock is a beast. He could kill plenty of people.
Batista was great in Knock at the Cabin also Bushwick was another movie by Batista was great. I like how Batista becomes the character.
When I stood next to him at the fairgrounds of Allentown PA in 2005, it was one of those revelations of life where I was so absolutely in awe of how vastly physically inferior I was as a man compared to him.
Maven is a great interview
i can't get enough of _The Huff_ 😊
People think the rock is big but boy batista was an animal. 300 lb and lean. Insane freak
My life and inspiration Dave Batista Jai shree Ram Jai mera baba Bajrangbali ❤
The imitation ❤
The cabin movie wasn’t that good for me BUT i kept saying how Dave’s acting was amazing.
Batista earned his chops and I'm a huge, HUGE film buff... everything from silent film to the Hollywood Golden Age to today AND I will tell you with 100 percent certainly that he will go down in film history as bring in one of the greatest opening sequences in all of film, which is in Blade Runner 2049 and even though it's a small role, the presence he brings to that role and character is brilliant. It's very somber and underplayed and it's of a man willing to die for his convictions. Actually the delivery in how he under acts it reminds me very much of John Wayne in Red River when he promises to kill Monty Clift's character. Great stuff and Blade Runner 2049 is the best film of its decade, the 2010s.
Batista is 100 percent the best actor to come away from a WWE career. Batista is 1,000 percent a better actor than The Rock.
This was unprovoked lol you okay?
@@JohnSmith-er5gv so, because you don’t agree with me, you say my comment was unprovoked? Okay then.
Batista
@@Moonslight7658Batista 👍
Truth.. I completely agree
Never seen her to Wedding Crashers but everybody knows she got RKOd that year and she left like you but in early 06
Brock was the freakish one in 2002
I am stronger than Brock
Brock was freakish but Batista was just a larger guy overall. He was wider and had thicker arms/legs. Bigger frame.
@@humbledude3784 who could bench more?
@@undertakerfanz628me
Still is😂
Prime Batista was the biggest guy in all of WWE he was huge absolute specimen
That first story is funny cause I remember when Batista debuted in 2002 with dvon and he was just starting out and nobody knew who he was lol
I have a feeling brock would be a good actor with the right role.
He talks about it like he wasn't scared too see them in that locker room.. probably his hands shaking and his mannerism is like 100% bull
I have his name is Brock Lesnar but both are freaks of nature and physical specimens
Batista had more muscles than Brock and was taller. Brock was a stocky big build Heavyweight that moved deceptively quick for size.
@@terryindachat7296 so that still doesn't make him a physical specimen how again?
@@terryindachat7296both are built different. Batista got wider shoulders and bigger torso. Lesnar got short and thick torso.Batista 1 inch taller
@@farajicouncil4496 nah the question you responded too was that you seen someone that looked like Batista and his name is Brock, but Brock didn't have Batista size or muscular build, Batista is also 6'5 320 and Brock is 6'2/6'3 285. Brock was a way better athlete than Batista by far but far as that Look.. Batista had it.. That's one of the reasons they pushed Batista ahead of Brock in OVW.
@@terryindachat7296 no pretty sure I know who I'm referring to I'm actually me so I know what I say and what I refer to. I literally mean everything I say anyone who knows me knows that. But you keep telling yourself that you know what I was referring to sounds like you had some really good weed where you are
The Rock has been boxed into a certain role but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have range I’ve seen him act in 2 non action movies and did very very well in them it’s just he’s type casted by Hollywood to be the strongman
He casts himself as that. It’s literally one of his clauses
Bautista
Maven! Mavin eliminating the Undertaker
How big was he really? 😏
Goddamn!
585th like mine!
😢. I ll sue you.
Can Chris stay of the rock's wiener long enough to actually think about maven said about the Batista's acting, the rock could never an I'm not even hating.. He's an ass actor.. He's like the early first time on the big screen Will Smith, except he's been in the game longer than Dave and is yet to confince me
I wonder where he would get without..you know. The steroids
By-the-way Rigby will like a break here.🦝
