I first heard this song when I was in high school so that was about 11 years ago. My best friend loves this song and I sang this in her funeral because she took her own life last year. I always sing this to her to soothe her panic attacks when she calls me for help or advice. She took her own life because she was raped. That's why this song is so special and close to me.

I just traveled across the United States (Florida to Indiana) in a car with my mom for 16 hours straight, no sleep. I took a nap, woke up, and this song was playing in the Kentucky mountains, the sheer beauty and color of the world around me made me cry.
