@@stevenwelchtoyota Will you please demonstrate if the Grand Highlander trims are equipped with REMOTE control WINDOWS and moonroof from the key fob. Also no subscription necessary? The manual page 112 says 'if equipped.' Every salesperson and general manager have refused to test and one general manager lied they don't have a way to pay for the technician's (5 minutes) of labor and the technicians charge by the hour. Toyota USA phone number is no help. They will only read manuals and brochures which everybody else can already read.

I found the video informative and useful. Because I am getting a hybrid Grand highlander soon, I have questions about the inch screen. My expectation is that it will not have a tachometer. Rather, it will tell me about power usage. What I would like is the power usage data where the tachometer is on the gas version. I currently have a limited highlander and really like the eco score and know that I not have that on the new car. What I would like to be able to approximate that the eco score does on the Limited. Your thoughts? Am I correct about the power data?
Hi Steve, I purchased some OEM cargo lights for my Grand Highlander, but I have not installed them yet. I am trying to figure out if there is a way to turn these lights off if you need to leave your cargo hatch open? Some people say they don’t turn off at all and others say they take at least 30 mins to turn off. Is there a way to link them to the door lights or is there a separate switch or button somewhere?
I just bought a 2024 grand hihlander, I was looking at the bumper and I don't see anything, it is impossible for an SUV worth more than $50,000 not to have parking sensors Personally I like the sound of the assistance when parking. Please help
Thanks for the interesting video. We just got our Grand Highlander hybrid yesterday, and when we start the car we get a light on the dash displaythat says REAR with a series of dots below it. What does that mean, a d how can I turn it off?
Each red dot represents your rear passengers and the red dot turns off when each passenger is buckled up. If you do not have any passengers then the red dots will be there but they go away after a few minutes of driving
Thanks for going over this. I have a specific question that I’m hoping you can help with. What I think is the driver monitor is annoying. I’ll be looking at traffic both ways before turning and the car will yell at me that I’m not paying attention 🤦🏽♀️ I only want to turn off this function. I was trying to find it in the book and gave up and came here. I think under ‘vehicle settings’ -> “driver monitor display “ if I turn it off, it will only turn off those cameras and not the rest of the safety features like PDA, etc. am I correct or do I need to keep it on? I’m about ready to put some tape over it otherwise 😂
@MrJB8383 You think it's a joke, but my brother had an experience on a used Chromebook he bought from a swap meet years ago. While he was using it, it started taking photos of him. Shortly after, cops were at our front door asking where the stolen Chromebook was. Apparently the person sold him a stolen Chromebook. You never know who's looking at you through any wifi/data enabled camera.
Apparently I don’t understand how I get to the tire pressure monitor. The red alarm icon has come on, checked tire pressure and it’s ok but red icon remains on telling me to contact dealer. Wondering if the tpm just needs resetting but can’t understand how to find it. I understand all the other functions just can’t find tire pressure file or list in the mds. Thanks for you help I gave a 8 day Grand Highlander.
@@stevenwelchtoyota it’s only the rear passenger reading light. I have to manually reach back and turn it off every time. I was hoping it was a setting accidentally turned on.

How do you make the tire display default? every time i get out and get back in , i have to manually do it....

Put black electric tape over it. I did that the day I bought the car. You never know who's looking at you.

Try walking up to it without your key. The lights illuminate when the key is close
