1936 Farmall F-12 tractor, gasoline operation only.
Crank start according to the manual.

Good job. Always good to mention the thumb. My grandfather always made me crank left-handed because he said a backfire will destroy your hand.

Good advice. I occasionally still crank tractors even when they have usable electric start.
