One of my "top 3" mistakes, I make over and over again; letting my S/L go way beyond, what I intended it too, believing it was going to "turn around." 90% of the time, it doesn't. Like you said Nick, cut it short and wait for the next one. Nice video, well done, as always.
Exactly, i also drag them to the next zone hoping it would bounce and i will close it on breakeven but i doesn’t happen like that, i stopped doing this
Same here, that's my main issue, I'm willing to let my loosers go way into drawdown, but I'm fast to close my winners.

Hee Shawn, I have binging your videos for the last weeks. You are a very refreshing find! And I started to enjoying trading again. A light difficulty i have is to grasp the difference between two statements i have hearth you say in a couple of videos:
1) just make sure that everything aligns on every time-frame
2) Just be mindless with you analysis. if hit support in uptrend, you just buy.
Has 2 more preference over 1? Or is there a way to smartly combine this.

As a new trader I understand how important stop losses are, I just have a question. I heard a very experienced trader mention that there is something called stop hunting where the Bears will see that you have put that SL in and just knock it out to make money off of all the retail traders that put up stop losses. Do you personally use stop losses? Because last week I stopped using them and just literally watched my trades instead of leaving them and have noticed that I have been winning more. Before I was just getting stopped out constantly when putting up a SL.
Do your research on stop hunting. Personally im not sure, but i dont think its real and the banks are after peoples stop losses. It sounds a little silly. Be careful if youre not using a stop loss you should always have alerts and watch over the trade.

Probably a dumb question but what type of trading is it when you are risking a set unit of risk to basically double up each time if the trade goes your way? This seems to be the way things work out on all your other videos. The example only made pennies on 100 dollars, is that because you took profit super early or because you were using a different type of trade offering on MEXC?

Yeah but you can be in a good winner, then buy at a high on your next entry and end up exiting for breakeven when you could have had a winner just letting the first single position run as planned.

I’m trying to get into swinging forex, but I don’t understand the lot sizes or how to determine the P&L. For example, I day trade the ES, so I know each tick is 12.5 with one contract. But when it comes to forex, I’m lost in the sauce.

Nick how do you get your zoom camera so clear
It’s a Canon EOS R with a 24mm-240mm lens, connected with a USBC wire into my MacBook Pro 16 inch, with the Canon EOS Utility driver installed on my Mac so that it can recognize the camera as a webcam, then I select it as the webcam in Zoom to display it.
My whole setup for these dumb screen recorded YT vids is over $5,000. Camera, computer, Shure SM7B mic with cloud lifter and interface, soft box lighting etc.
Because super high product quality, right?

Finally, I get it lol. I have only been entering one entry per pair and just let that go. No wonder I haven’t had much luck. Thanks for the regular mention with this list on how you just try another entry for the same pair , close off the ones that don’t work with in mind when to stop loss and risk management. I haven’t lost much but will attempt more entries with different targets covering the probability. Thank you so much. Hey Nick I can’t thank you enough! I hope you have time to read this and better Yet a short response would be amazing! After 3 years of an absolute shit storm I am finally finding some consistency with my trading using your approach to trading. I’m setting 1:1 RR and having success with scaling in extra positions. I am having trouble with one thing, knowing when to close with some profit when price starts reversing. I sometimes close all posistions only ro find that price continues to move in my favour and other times when I don’t close I seem to loose my profit. What I am happy with is these situations is I usually break even so not too bad at all. Is there anything but experience that could help here? At the moment I’m using break of structure on 5min time frame. Any thing else i could try?? Thanks so much mate, you are a game changer.

Hi Nick. I saw on Telegram you changed broker because of "strange" behavior of candles. This might not be failure of broker, but Metatrader. Few days ago broker I use (Hankotrade) changed their platform from MT to ActTrader explaining, they can't stand technical difficulties and service quality from MT anymore. Maybe this clears something.

This implies something happened and you need to explain yourself to your audience or you risk looking like a fraud like most other traders.
You e been a breath of fresh air for the last 6 months as I’ve been practicing. However, I still don’t have a broker based on being unable to know which to trust and this sounds to me like you e said fuck using unregulated brokers now. This makes your system flawed if we must use 50:1 leverage. Please respond to this!

Nick always gives the best advice , but Nick when you add to winners you alway increase your risk , you can add to a winner and immediately it retrace now you have 2 positions rather than one going against you .
You missed the part where you move tour stop on the 1st position. This keeps your risk the same despite adding a 2nd position
