I think Desi hit the nail on the head. My guess is she's mostly just staying in just in case there is some development in one or more of the legal battles dealing with Trump's various crimes that most of the rest of the RNC will view as hurting Trump's chances to the extent as to be deal breaker, in which case she will be the only one in a position to take up the nomination in his place. Given how the cult is, I very much doubt that a majority of them will desert him over anything less than him being arrested for carrying out a mass shooting on 5th Avenue in broad daylight while live streaming the whole thing on "Truth Social". I'm sure she knows the same. It's a long shot, for sure, but crazier things have happened.
