- Eric Jackson and Vantage Cinema present a story about snowboarding, fly-fishing and finding alignment in the mountains.
Filmed primarily on location in Northern BC, Alignment features Eric Jackson, John Jackson, Curtis Ciszek and friends as they explore epic mountains and wild rivers while spending an entire season living in a cabin outside Terrace, British Columbia.
Shot and mastered entirely in 4K, breathtaking cinematography and a killer soundtrack accompany the crew on a journey to up their level of riding by finding a balance between the rawness of snowboarding and tranquility of fly-fishing.

Easily my favourite snowboarding film, can’t count how many times I’ve watched it.
First time seeing it and I'd have to agree. Definitely looking forward to watching it many more times. Not to many snowboarding films give me goosebumps anymore. This one did for sure.

I have started snowboarding at 33. I feel so pity for the winters I have missed and that I couldn't learn to ride like I wish to. When I feel the smell of the snow and the mountains, I become so hungry for this freedom and joy. It's like nothing else.
I first started snowboarding at the age of 17, my last traverse was in Boise Idaho at The Ternmount peaks. I have yet to go again, an enlightening feeling with fresh tracks, and powder in your face. I dropped back country of the tetons with gratitude written all over my face as well as Ketchikan Alaska, heli drop.
As a flyfishing snowboarder, Alignment just hits different.
Best snowboarding movie I've ever watched. Making me reconsider my life path, and I think that's great!

Such a rad film. Snowboarding is so much more than a sport. It's a passion, a lifestyle, a way to make lifelong friends and a means to get out and enjoy ourselves outside. Cool to see this film tie in another way to get out and appreciate the mountains and outdoor lifestyle. Now I want to fly fish
This is the best movie I have ever seen it’d different from most snowboarding movies, it’s funny, full of huge skill, best of both worlds (fishing and snowboarding), and all around beautiful. It’s like there is no stress in everyone’s body, just shredding and fishing, basically just seeing how it goes and I love it.

Snowboarding soundtracks are always great. Fucking love snowboarding. My senior year of high school I would leave early or skip friday and go to the mountain for 3 days sometimes...some of my favorite memories, 49' north, mt Spokane, silver...now it seems like all I have time for is work, I will make a change...idk when. But snowboarding can't just be a memory.
I was going to do work then clicked on this. I said, "I'll just watch 1 minute"...then it turned to "I'll just watch 3 more minutes"...and then at 35 minutes...yeah.

as a 50yr old rider from the first wave of skaters to come into snowboarding...this beats the living shit out of the vapid corporate gymnastics that happen to be performed on snowboards...I don't begrudge what its become it will do what it does and more power to whatever you think it should be....that's how it will always be...and yes much of the tech that makes a work of art like this possible is part of that corporate growth....but damn this is beautiful to see and smile inducing....

Snowboarding, Mountain Biking, Fishing, Rock Climbing, Camping, Hiking and Golf are my favorite things to do. So fucking enjoyed this. Awesome fucking movie. Northern, BC, hell all British Columbia is a total fucking paradise. Japan, Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Wyoming, Utah, France, Austria, Switzerland, Northern Italy, Chile, and New Zealand are my favorite places in the world. These places are paradise. Bora Bora , Fiji, Hawaii, The Maldives, Mykonos, The Amalfi Coast, Portofino, Monte Carlo, Marbella and Ibiza are all amazing and beautiful places, but none of them come close to the places I first listed. Don’t get me wrong I love the beach. But the mountains always kick the beaches ass. Going to Northern, BC this February. Specifically going to Bell 2 Lodge, BC which is 220 miles north of Terrace, BC. So fucking stoked about this coming season.
