    Everyone should be addressing this violation of our rights to the Blount County, TN Mayor, Ed Mitchell... How is it that Blount County is getting away with UNLAWFULLY posting a sign on the front door of the Blount County Justice Center stating that cellphones or recording devices are prohibited? Local policies DO NOT supersede our Constitutional rights!! Freedom of the press or freedom of the media is the principle that communication and expression through various media, including printed and electronic media, especially published materials, should be considered a right to be exercised freely.
    "Tennessee law permits the use of still photography and audio and video recording devices in any trial, hearing, argument on appeal, or other matter held in open court that the public is entitled to attend." It is also our Constitutional right to record anything we can see in a publicly accessible area. This is a clear violation of our rights. FYI- Government buildings are paid for by the members of the public's taxes so we have every right to record anything that our eyes can see in public!!
    City or county policies do NOT override the laws or the U.S. Constitution. Every American has a First Amendment right to record in public places, even in government buildings. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.” This means that no government entity may curtail free speech and press activities. Photography in a publicly accessible area of any government building is our right. Both the public and the press have a right to record government officials or matters of public interest in a public place. But unfortunately, it is one thing for a photographer to know his or her rights when recording public officials and quite another for security guards, police officers, and government officials to be knowledgeable of or even care about those rights. They are constantly violating our rights. Do a search on CZcams for "First Amendment Auditors" and watch their videos. Most people (even police officers) don't even know what our Constitutional rights are, even though they have sworn to an oath to protect those rights.

    First of all, everyone needs to make a complaint to the Blount County Mayor, Ed Mitchell. (865) 273-5700. Or you could address the complaint onto his Facebook page here---> facebook.com/blountcountytnmayor
    Secondly, we can all contact the Department of Justice to report a civil rights violation. (Here is the address of the Blount County Justice Center: 926 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway Maryville, TN 37804)
    You are not required to provide your name or contact information. If you want to remain anonymous, leave that section blank. Also, notice the retallitorial "camback" how dare a citizen photograph public information and plate info said citizen pays for. Cops when denied by a citizen a complete bowing down to they get angry because they couldnt control them. They always want what in their minds is a "winning one over on ya" evidently, showing just how unprofessional cops are. You need to get their policy manual and search for personal phone usage, if he isnt in compliants with policy, submit a complaint. Cops are sworn to protect your right to do so and it shouldnt anger them, it should inspire them to protect that activity. Keep a mask around, when they hold cell phone turn around and put it on, deny them the retalliation photo. They couldnt cite or arrest you, so now theyre upset.

    I certainly was hopping for a train to come through there but that doesn’t look like it’s a mainline because it just has signs that say railroad crossing.
    If I can offer any advice it would be to not ask them if things are all right with them or can you do certain things that you already know are legal don’t ask their permission or don’t ask them to agree with you just do it or walk out to the public area which is what you should’ve done dragging them along with you. I think you have promise, more than many people I’ve seen on CZcams. Additionally very excellent video and coherent audio with good command of the English language. Vulgarity is not necessary I know in the heat of the moment sometimes it slips out but it doesn’t get your point across any better.

      The timestamp is off and my settings were messed up for resolution on my body cam. Didn't catch it until I was sitting down to edit. The shots without timestamp are my phone's camera. Practice makes, well, uh, better hopefully! Thanks for the feedback!

    Any time they start following you like that you should automatically turn around and go to the main office of the facility. Turn your camera off of course since they do have the sign which means on the other side of the sign not the side you were on. Ask for the supervisors and a complaint form. File a formal complaint for harassment of a citizen that has not broken any laws. Also tell them that if they continue to follow you that you will sit outside the facility and take video/pictures of every person, car and license plate that enters or leaves the facility. If they still follow you after that call the sheriff and report them for stalking you. Also do a FOIA request for the report that they should have filed and all pictures, phone records and dispatch tapes. And in some states if they ran your plates without a valid reason that is another complaint. Not sure about your state.

    I like your video. One thing I would say to you is don't go into any property even to look at a sign close up, even if they allow you. Some cops will try to trap you and arrest you for going onto their property

    • @brucemiller1696
      @brucemiller1696 Před 3 lety

      You can go ANYWHERE you want. If you are somewhere you are not supposed to be, they will ask you to leave. If you dont leave, cops come and ask you to leave and give you a tresspass warning. Then if you dont leave, they can arrest you. Nothing matters if you were invited onto their property at any time before or after warnings. If you were given a tresspass warning for that property, what would happen if you were legally taken there? Would they be violating their own warning?

    • @tnaccountability7455

      You just have to be careful n not do so if you have been lawfully n formally trespassed prior. Like when i was at wal mart. The bish said I need management please after giving me some bs claiming i need people permission to video them in public as I was videoing parking violations (fire lane blocking/parking violations. Its in my videos. Was the first time I had ever done so. I don't sugar cost things, give in, kiss ass, cater to feelings and I dont cower to threats.. That may not be a good thing but I'm not scared of anything or anyone. The only thing I fear is my savior. That said I rather keep my servants accountable during their duties n not try to entice them. Reason being is tbh I will defend myself n they will lie n claim my 2nd isnt applicable to invoke and put to use against my servants. On my mothers grave I'll posture up n eat a bullet takr a beating or give one. Makes no difference to me so I tend to sit back n try to keep from any contact cause I refuse to be nice to a tyrant that I pay to honor their oath to that constitution.
      But yeah they can't lawfully arrest anyone for trespassing without formally informing them they have been trespassed...yet if you do at that moment and you refuse and do not leave and or come back...then you can be arrested for what is still a hogus arrest simply due to the fact no crime was committed per supreme court justice law of the land ...no victim of loss harm or damages..then there is no crime or victim to face in court.
      That would arbitrary arrest kidnapping and fraudulent blackmail gor a ransom for your release from felony captivity n caging.
      Thats the facts but americans hate freedom and constitutional unalienable rights.

    bro please keep doing this knoxville needs it so so bad. and plus on top of that i love to see the ones that are 100% pricks and really try to be bullys like the guy whwo parked on the tracks, get worked up n mad cause he knows your in the right. Unfortunately, if you were inside that facility, I promise you he's a very, very disrespectful and one of the first ones to try to put their hands on you like or trying to bully people scaring them with whatever threat he can make. He's a real piece of shit. Honestly I've dealt with him a few times unfortunately not proud to say where I was at when I did, but those are real piece of shit. And I'll be 100% honest I loved seeing that maybe that's wrong with my part but can't help it.
