- In which the suspiciously German-sounding "SirBratwurst" takes Her Majesty's Ship Warspite to sea and proceeds to give Johnny Foreigner a damn good spanking.

The intro:
"Which achievements are you going for in this game?"
"Yes."
"Cups of tea per colonized nation" 🤣 a vaild unit!
And Akizuki is a hell of a commanding cat officer.
That's fast. I thought her rank was Chief Petty Officer.
@@tuele4302 Kittens! They grow so fast.
Awesome to see a true Englishman, that is not completely blinded by nationalistic pride, and sees the faults of his people the same way everyone else does. Love this guy!
At what point
She's a dang good meowfficer.
"Good day chaps, we claim this land in the name of the King, and for the Empire" "what do you mean, we were here first, you cant colonize us" "Ah yes, but do you have a flag" lol
i'm pretty sure that's how it went every single time!
old but still good.
Superior flag diplomacy wins every time.
I mean, the natives may have used animal hides to mark their territory, or even skull-totems or something, but that is not a dyed piece of cloth after all!
"We don't need a bloody flag! This is our country you bastard!"
"NO FLAG, NO COUNTRY! YOU CAN'T HAVE ONE!"
@@GeneralKenobiSIYE "Fine! I declare the birds eye view of our land our flag! It represents us the most! And as luck would have it, we have it spread over the entire nation already!"
"that's what we refer to as an island" whoa buddy, slow down there a little Jingles. Not everybody knows these professional sailor's terms
I've watched Jingle's videos all the way through elementary, middle, and high school. I think I may watch it all the way through uni as well
A sensible choice to be honest
Great choice, now back to the salt mines
As a second year student I can confirm that is a great idea
I've been watching it since middle school till uni now. Always entertaining to watch Jingles
Should have spent that time studying... you'd have your Phd by now!
“Actually Jingles” WG figured out how to shoot through solid rock formations. They call it AA fire
Nothings more irritating than navigating your squadron around an island thinking you're safe from AA fire until you see the tracers flying through the mountains.
You can also see through island with radar. The wonders of WG technology!
And the occasional "torp through a landmass" that shows up. Bewildering all who see it.
Philip Bossy , genius!
That’s it! They use radar guided manuvering rounds, like the ones that were in “The Fifth Element” movie. They go actually around the island, but much faster than advertised.
AA doesnt shoot through islands anymore. needs direct line of fire
"We have not yet figured out how to sink islands."
LAUGHS IN BIKINI ATOLL
Buddy, the Atoll is still there. We didn't even sink all of the battleships we moored there.
@@AnimeSunglasses is joke dude. Don't take it literally.
Woosh
@@jaredw9171 eh, sorry. I guess I've seen too many "MURICA ooh rah" jokes
Maybe not Bikini Atoll, but they did sink Elugelab Island in Enewetak Atoll. Operation Ivy, shot Mike obliterated it.
Jingles is about the only thing that could tempt me back to WoWS
Jingles is the only person, who could make me a tourist in England..
He did tempt me back into it, and boy do I not regret it. I think I learned how to battleship from his videos XD
Keep an eye out in the news for when he's released as an in game captain and have a little blast.
@@Pliskkenn i cannot wait!
@@dicerson9976Me too. =D I started again like a week ago. :-)
Viewer: So how many British jokes did you put into this video?
Jingles: *yes*
Wellington Irish?
Somebody once called him Irish, he replied that just because Jesus was born in a stable did not make Jesus a horse.
Wellington could have had a sense of humour, also the massed bands of the Peninsular Army for the *bdum tish* after the punchline :)
Hmm …Just for historical accuracy, the quote and the originator are wrong. It was Daniel O’Connell, his political opponent in Ireland who quipped: “He is not an Irishman. He was born in Ireland, but being born in a stable does not make a man a horse”. The intent didn’t work, he won his seat in 1790 to the Irish House of Commons
@@setyeva0 OK. Pity, I'll file it with the other stories I wish were true
@@setyeva0 "That’s alright buddy. Everybody understands, bigotry and reality are never happy bedfellows."
What? Jingles says Wellington was Irish, I remember something, you inform me that it was incorrect and I accepted that. Where's the bigotry?
OK, I see where the misunderstanding happened. I said "pity" because I like the idea of someone like the Duke of Wellington having a sense of the ridiculous (whoever said it, it was a top quality witty and humorous comment).
And I try to remember anecdotes that are amusing or surprising anyway, but specially if they are not true, because you can tell a lot about how the world worked at the time.
For example, the Napier story and "Peccavi".
Serious question: Wouldn't HMS Warspite be *HIS* Majesty's Ship?
Built and broken up before the time of the Queen, after all.
Shhh! You'll just confuse him. After all, he did say the British Empire was the biggest, when we all know it's really the Empire of the Mouse.
LOL of course in these PC times that would make it TMS 'Their Majesty's Ship'
i believe (uneducated guess) it depends on who's sitting on the throne right now as opposed to who's on the chair when the ship(s) was built
@@thomas.02 As far as I can remember it's the correct one. Irrespective of the gender of the monarch when the keel was laid or ship comissioned the reigning monarch's gender is the only one that counts.
@@andrewreilly1018 No no, it's Personal Majesty's Ship. Wait a minute...
"...as English as Queen Victoria!"
"What, your father was German, you're half-German and you married a German?"
Captain Darling and Captain Blackadder.
A Frenchman is French. A Dane is Danish. A Saxon is German. A Dutchman is Dutch. But sir, I contest to you that the uniqueness of the English comes from the fact that only they are ALL of those things at once. The British CHARACTER is of far more import than who sired them.
Credit where credit's due, the Brits did give the world The Beatles, Led Zepplin, and Pink Floyd. Not to mention Doctor Who, Top Gear, and Monty Python!
In any event, it's important not to give too much credence to names, especially when Jingle's chief ambassador to the world is the 100% British cat named Akizuki.
You missed Queen, the Rolling Stones, The Who, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath.
... and the United States.
@@nmccw3245 Yeeeaaah, Dont remind us......
And before Monty Python- The Goon Show.
@@nmccw3245 nah, thats more our (Germanys) fault, since most of the white USAmericans have german heritage :D
Loving these memes at the start it gives us young people the ability to see how memers memed in the 1990s
honestly, jingles always cheers me up, even when i feel really depressed
Me too!!
Tea and medals is all i come home to after a game in the Warspite!
i just read the description and of course this vids about her majesty's most prestigious ship of them all. not that i have a problem with that, she is after all the tier 6 ship in the game, change my mind.
Thank you for all the videos, Jingles. You make my day just a bit brighter with your chuckle and good nature.
That was the best speech given against the brexit that i have ever hear. And it's 11 o'clock in the morning and I'm watching a Jingles video.
@[REDACTED] hahahahahahahahahahaha!
@@ronlynquist9183
A year later, and RECTADACTED's delusion is still kinda funny, even when balanced against all the deaths and mass infections . . .
We've got the second big peak of The Rona, we've got flu season looming on the horizon and we've got an inevitable no deal Brexit, all landing at once.
We're fucked, and fucked *_hard._*
At least we can still lol at REDUCATTED, yeh?
Does anyone else miss the old Kraken unleashed clip Jingles used to play?
those attracts copyright thieves, I personally miss Yamato theme song but hey as long as it keeps jingles feeding....
OI, you will NEVER take the dutch title of ''most european country''!
We in the netherlands have basically no national identity except for tulips, windmills and hating belgium!
Don't forget your clogs bud
OH we british can beat that we apparently hate the french the germans and the spanish. We basically stand at the english channel and shout i know you are but what am i and wait for a respone.
In Canada we have apologies, bears, hockey, and a daft bastard as our PM. Our identity is basically just nice US.
Actually Tulips are Persian in origin :D
@@d.watamate8231 nah the who in the world could hate a country that pretty much owned everything apart from the Spanish and argentines and Indian and Chinese and french and the Egyptians and iran and Pakistan
When the Discription has the words "Her Majesty's Ship Warspite". You know your in for a good time.
Honestly think your vids are getting better and better. And the first few mins of this were satisfyingly self aware. Thumbs up from me mate.
One of your best videos in quite a long time.
Jingles at his very best! I don’t care what the game is, I will listen to this man on any topic.
I don't usually remind myself to like your videos (even though I watch them almost daily), but this one really made me laugh, so here you go, get my thumbs up !
Ah, good to hear you're feeling Young for once, Mighty Overlord! It has been a while since I've heard such a cheerful commentary from thee. I salute you, thank you for reminding me why I started subscriping to you all those years ago
I just realized that I had this video saved on a playlist because it has everything I could ever ask for:
- the right amount of Brittish colonialism
- giving carriers the shit
- carrier beeing stupid
- people giving broadsides left right and center
- Akizuki
- one of the best intros a Jingles video ever had
Best vid intro yet. Thanks old man!
Makes my heart fill with glee to see The Mighty Jingles taking clips from stoner movies...it gives me visions of sharing giant bong rips and huge dabs with Jingles someday.
Yay. A Jingles video. Not watched one of those since....erm....yesterday!! Love your pre-intro snippets Jingles, especially today's offering.
this is pure gold, among best jingles videos of all time
Admiral Jingles your use of Memes is on point as always with that intro. Well played sir.
This is so brilliant on so many levels!
Ah! The Squire and Luftshiff's Sir Reginald would be proud of you, Sir Bratwurst. Cheers! our TMJ and Akazuki
Remember the currwerst was invented by squaddies post ww2 giving curry sauce to the bratty wagons to put on the sausage
Jingles, calling us "a part of Europe" is like calling Singapore and Hong-Kong parts of China. We can be separate, but neighbourly.
Try telling that to the people who live in HK!
How's about this one. Calling Gibraltar & Catalonia a "part of Spain".
Great stuff! Oh how we laughed at the misfortune and misplays ;-)
Great job @SirBratwurst and a fine commentary as always Jingles :-)
Love the music from the shadows, Jingles. Keep them comming ;)
Last time I was this early I was sober!
My old man would have loved this video. He served in the Med under A.B.Cunningham during WWII in a somewhat less salubrious, Insect class Gunboat, HMS Ladybird. This was a ship that defended Tobruk during one of Rommel's sieges and was sunk, but only to its gunwales. So all seamen were taken off save the gun crews who continued firing both 6" and one 3" as fixed battery.
Aww, jingles, you make me like your sarcasm when you’re so good at it at 12:00!
Youre leaving the EU, not Europe ;)
Given the dramatic increase of the ocean level tens of thousands of years ago, which created the north sea, you already physically left Europe 😂
Well, leaving the EU is a logical choice. As the EU is going to delete Jingles's channel. Why? Too many memes.
no, great britain is still connected via tectonic plates, otherwise every island on earth would be it's own continent
(i am aware it was a joke, i just like proving people wrong, adjust your insults accordingly.)
@@meeshermans297 - Kinda makes Europe British then! Huzzah!
@@danosverige no? i'm not sure why you're saying this, it would actually be the other way around.
@@meeshermans297 - Was meaning back when we colonized the World... Europe would have been top of our 'hit list'! And we'd have won because...we're British!
Just got this ship today and I absolutely love this
Jingles don't ever change!
That was pretty amazing to watch. Good close salvos
A ancient memory from an old Asterix comic book goes, roughly translated from Swedish (that's been translated from whatever the original language are), something like: "I don't mind foreigners. Some of my best friends are foreigners. But those foreigners are not from here!".
Britain: Tea and Scones
New Zealand: Fush and Chups
Can I just say how much I appreciate the low tiers you often show us? These are ships most of us plebs actually own.
another brilliant example why Jingles is my favorite!
I don't know what was better: The explanation of tea-colonies as a unit of measure, or the explanation of islands.
the opening alone is worth me a thumbs up =D
Best three and a half minute intro ever.
I love how Jingles freely admits how much german the english have in them (as least as far as british royalty goes).
I read where at Queen Victoria's death bed, with the entire royal family and relatives gathered around her, the one holding her hand at the end was Kaiser Wilhelm, one of her favorites.
Hey Jingles,
just finished watching a Tarantino critics before clicking your vid - and then the music started : )
took me a few seconds to convince myself it's just a coincidence....
Loving the nickname “war canoe”
Splendid good show Old Chap.
Damn, right on time today!
Great comment Jingles !!! Love you, European islander ! Me being partly German, Belgian, Batavian, Spanish I guess and having ancestors to the British !!!
0:00 How most Phoenix kills are attained.
Everyone knows USN cruisers don't have torps. So what killed the Gangut and Danae?
???
???
?
survive long enough for a torpedo strike, best phoenix tactic (only phoenix tactic?)
But it gets perfected on the Omaha. Even more squishy, twice as many torpedoes, and guns to fire to distract people from the possibility of being torpedoed by a ship that "doesn't have them".
And dies even faster than a Phoenix.
Looks like somebody woke up in a good mood today.
Jingles, i just love you.
That intro deserved a "Worth it!"
"We have not figured out how to sink islands"
Venice would like a word with you, Jingles.
Yes, a cup of tea sounds wonderful about now.
I came to hear Jingles at 7:25 not disappointed. Kudos from Poland!
I swear, if you made a podcast about significant battles in history. I would listen.
Welcome to 2019 where we ALL have to think like lawyers and word everything perfectly because to many people assume intended meaning is from THEIR perspective only and take things way to literally 😂
Still Guuted that I have a still broken computer and other expenses and can't get back to WOWS.. Your clips keep me putting the penny's away.. Thanks Jingles you keep me hooked.
Admiral Jingles, your colorful commentary is always appreciated. My respects, kind Sir. (Texas_Vet - NA)
That Was a Simply Fantastic Match that Just makes Me want to Break out my Warspite for another Few Games....Maybe Later for now I'm going to watch the Video Gain for I enjoyed it so.
great vid
After watching the intro alone, I need a cigar!
Jingles you owe me the keyboard: D. I almost died at 9:17 ..... I sit at work and calmly watch your movie ... I drink coffee and then you with this unit of measure almost drowned me with coffee. I could not swallow a sip of coffee and started laughing so hard that I ran out of breath and even then I could not stop. The monitor, keyboard and a solid piece of desk were flooded with coffee. : D
Being British: Jingles, that has got to be the funniest thing you've said in a long time...
You got a spit take from me when you said holding back German Horde's at Rourke's Drift. lol. (I love the movie Zulu) Well done, Jingles sir.
1. Made myself a cup of tea
2. Looked ay youtube: Nice, jingles put up a new WOWs Video
3. It's a warspite video. Nice
4. I'm German
FUCK YEAH!
I love that intro scene
The person I'm sitting next to asked about how british Imperialism was and if it was invented in Britain. And then a few moments later, Jingles says that you can build the biggest Empire known to mankind using an island.
Love it!
haven't laughed so hard in such a long time 😂
Britain, watching this replay: Oh the good ole days
Her Majestys' Ship Warspite would refer to the Valiant class nuclear attack submarine, or the Imperieuse class armoured cruiser, or to a vessel that started off as a 74 gun third-rate ship of the line, later converted to a 50 gun razee frigate. There was also a 29 gun galleon launched in 1596, but she was just plain old Warspite (or Warspight, spelling not being a strong point of the Tudors), as the HMS prefix wasn't in common use until the middle of the 18th Century.
The vessel represented in WoWS is most definitely His Majesty's Ship Warspite, but I'm not about to hold that against anyone.
“There is no other country more European!”
*Brexit exists*
Jingles: ".. possibly the most British of British ships...." The HMS Victory has clearly slipped your mind, O Admiral of Teh Internets.
Was not expecting electric guitar at the start of a video titled "Tea and Medals"
That New Mexico had to be cursing his dispersion there at the end.
Warspite makes me happy to have English blood in me and was the first ship I won from opening a container; and has an 18 point Capt if I remember rightly. GOD save the Queen.
My only solo warrior came on this map, this mode. Started from the b-c:5-6 area to that gap heading into C cap e-9 before anyone found me as the clock ran out. Nerves were shot for a few minutes after that one. But that was in a destroyer or cruiser.
3:22 All those descriptions sound like 'Merica, the great melting pot. Which is about to burn because the head cook left the stove on. He's no Iron Chief. Nice video BTW
Me as an American BB player:
That shot just stole the oil
That shot just made you the 51st state
and that shot just gave you some darn good FREEDOM!!!
Warspite has always been a fun ship to play. 😁
Jingles, you made me almost spit my coffee because I was laughing at the 'British' intro. Love your humour! And sad to see you leave the EU. Love from your overseas neighbor, the Netherlands
Not forgetting the cream teas and tiffin when in port you know jolly good show old sport
AND YET: Chicken Tikka Masala, famed "Indian" dish eaten and adored all around the world....actually British.
Best intro ever!
I think SirBratwurst gave the Molotov whiplash with the speed at which he sent it back to the port screen.
Jingles: britian is Europe
America in the background yelling: hey what about me?!
Ah the Phoenix. The "lets see how many guns we can squeeze on here" ship.
the Cobi Warspite on my Shelf likes this Video very much, Sir^^
5:30am in marlyland and jingles video has already ben up a hr this is why he is the bee's nee's
