I love this album, it'a fucking masterpiece!
kudos for not having ten million ads
Dean Lamb from Archspire sent me here. This shit slaps!
Hahahha i was just watching the video also and it reminded me this band exists
07 Night Terrors: first minute or two sounds like a modern day version of Special Defects. Many other parts too. My personal favorite track on this album because I’m a nerd. Hope good ol’ Fredrik finally finishes a new solo album soon.
Dude I'm listening to night terror right now and this s*** is blowing my mind
To think, Alex Webster from Cannibal Corpse is on bass!? 😎
Jay Mack whats surprising about it? He's considered one of the best Bass players in the entire Metal genre.
Yeh listen to CC frantic disembowlment lookin at video their spider fingers will make you spin literally speaking ,not everythin guitar playing muscle memory must proceed to another level of Madness to achieve ,warp your minds
Oh my GOD 😻😻😻
The final saying in math metal.
Great band spectacular music there awesome
Masterpiece of an album, I've been listening to it since I first bought it back in 2007 and it still sounds absolutely fresh!
Pictures awesome I can't believe I haven't heard this by now I know Alex Webster is a good writer but this is awesome
Imagine Meshuggah opening up for these guys would be if your brain was actually left in your head by the time you left the show I don't know!!🤘🤘🤘
what the absolute fuck is velociraptor on about
Give him a break. His buddy Mauricio had a stomach ache in both 2019 and 2020.
This actually make you feel smarter 😂
😮😮😮😮😮wow
I wish all modern metal copied the production on this thing, it's perfect
I subscribed because of THIS ALBUM! I thought I had heard it all...
Nope!
This melted my faces.
yes no vocals just metal
Just like joe satch who loved strange sounding chords n scales kinda lotsa holdsworth influences with modern concept ,whats amazing those who get it ,just like they realize Meshuggah created somethin in D.E.I that now many are saying ,why the fuck did i ignore this music and only listen to shredders '90s 🤣😈
Dark rock gothic
Drummer is
Charles Z on this album. Not Hannes G. Hannes was on the 2nd album. If you want to hear some precursor stuff to this album go check out his album Speaking Solitarily on Theoretical Confinement. A bunch of early blotted riffs in there but what seems to be a drum sample machine. Still Ron on guitar killing it!

the guitar and drum work is pretty fucking sick regardless of what you call it

Not all metal music is evil
Lol this is like the polar opposite end of the spectrum - all theory and math and done in such a cool way.
@@magetaaaaaa This sounds crushingly evil, but more in the *"protagonist has a morbid journey escaping the mad scientist's lab and barely lived to tell the tale (or did he?)"* kind of evil.
honestly, as I get older, the more cartoon-y, angry kid energy about having to do homework or finish a meal that makes up the persona that performs most "evil" metal strikes me as insincere or "you have real issues and I'm not impressed".

math core, but with a very limited set of sounds. not enough to make it a concept album
I like the album, but I'm genuinely curious to hear from someone who does not. Any recommendations for instrumental math-core or similar metal that does have a more varied soundset?
No. Soundgarden isn't hard rock
An awesome, landmark record in tech-metal history.
