"Iqbal's Khudi" is Allama Muhammad Iqbal's concept of selfhood, emphasizing self-discovery, realization, and actualization. It represents an individual's inner essence, potential, and ability to overcome limitations. Iqbal believed nurturing one's khudi could lead to greatness, positive contribution, and fulfillment in life, urging self-awareness, confidence, and determination for realizing full potential.
And The Ubermensch, introduced by Nietzsche, is an idealized individual who transcends conventional morality and societal norms to create their own values and live authentically, embodying qualities like independence, creativity, and strength of will.
In my opinion, Iqbal did struggle with the theological foundation of God in Islam. Therefore, he invented the word "khudi" and elegantly used his linguistic/religious metaphors and symbols to explain the concept of khudi (super human being). It seems like that Iqbal was much influenced by Nietzsche.
seems to me you are not influenced by iqbal and neitzche both, oherwise you cant have said it.first get influenced by neitzche then tell me what iqbal writing is influenced.
He refuted that in a letter he wrote. Nietzche wasn't part of the curriculum when he was studying and he only read him after he made his philosophy.
From the comments section I came to know that most of people said that he interpreted Neitzche wrongly. It seems that our nation don't even read Iqbal.
That's why we are behind. We don't respect our heroes.
A wise mind always admire the wisdom even it accept it or reject.
I've just read neitzche history, his idea of life is completely dependent on the only power of man. On the other hand iqbal's khudi is related with morals, principles and Islamic principles.
Qaiser sab❤
Sir you are Great
ALLAH PAK ap ka hami o nasir rahe ameen.
Nietzsche ki kudi ko Sahil adeem ny bhi bahut acha explain kia
why we listen others to tell us who is Iqbal and neitzche; its better to study them by ourselves. All are doing different interpretation. Even there is only one Quran and a lot of different interpretation. Its better tostudy by ourselves and develop our own thoughts.
Masha Allah great
Iqbal is inspired by nietzsche. Iqbal concept of mard e Momin is inspired by ubermansh of Nietzsche
How Iqbal criticize nitzche
Very interesting 🤔 I think Allama Iqbal Chahta ta k ek insan khud ki talash ma insan ban jaya shatan free hand hu lakin itna free hand na Hun k wo ALLAH k kanoon or khud ka wajood bhul jaya ...
Nietzsche..ki soch thi k insan free hand hu religion not important insan ko Azaadi mila Hain TU wo Kisi be had tak jay sakta Hain wo uski apni Marzi Hain....
Go first read Nietzsche and then talk
You don't need god to be moral - Nietzsche
But humans are dependent and God is truth…He helped the humans whom cant be on morality…For example:-A book full of morals laws and accor to it humans should live life…thats a great blessing
Are u a Homosexual
you dont even need morality....me...😂
Lmao where did Nietzsche say that.
Iqbal was not even dust in comparison of Nietzsche, biased analysis
First of all Qaisar Ahmad Raja correct yourself Neitzche philosophy is not based on nihilism.Instead it is against Nihilism .Read his notes will to power where in first section he repeatedly says those who are weak conceptualize the world and even themselves meaningless. He says nihilism is not cause but result of decadence(weakness).
I agree. It is common for existentialism to be confused with nihilism or absurdism but its a way different solution to problems.
But he on many occasions wanders freely inside the nihilistic territory.
Then why decadence? Because of absence of isq...
Kia keh rahey ho bhai 😂😂
tumhe kia smjh arha ubermench aur iqbal ki khudi me?
Iqbal wasn't even a philosopher, Philosopher cannot think in a shell like Iqbal's thoughts were based on Islamic ideology, such a biased analysis
Ap ki sooch pr 😂😂 . Ap ka comment ko parh kr patà chalta ha ka na ap na Iqbal ko parha ha or na hi Nietzsche ko.
Very very wrong analysis of Nietzsche!
U explain then ,go ahead...
Disagreed with the thoughts in the video. Dr Iqbal have his literature and poetry himself filled with oxymoron ideologies.
the things you said about Nietzsche can also said about islam. Quran ki interpretations log apny hisaab sy kr k terrorism ko justify krty hn. 🤣🤣 yh konsa argument hy k alt-right uski philosophy ka istemal krty, it even proves Nietzsche's point. lol
Islam ki Interpretation kr k nhi adhi line parha kr , aur zulm ka badla zulm Keh kr oun logu Sy Jou victim rehy hoty wars aur conflicts kai...,
Common sense Hy k Kisi be-gunah ko maar kr koi Islam ki khidmt nhi krskta ...,
@danishzahurr 😂😂😂 gora complex k shikar and slave mentality ka classic example hai tu. Landey k angrez tu Pakistan chorh de phir agar tujhe Islam se itni chuban h or kahin dooooorrr baraf me ja k bus ja.
haha Iqbal's essentailsm begets Pakistan
hahahahahahah
You have interpreted Nietzsche very wrongly. You polarized yourself on one side.
Could you please note out some points he got wrong?`
Can you clarify it?

The speaker has very flawed and faulty knowledge about Nietzsche's philosophy.
Could you please note out some points he got wrong?
