People rip him but he's an honest bloke on his assessments, good interview
to be honest, AJ losing just makes boxing all the more entertaining to watch. Spices things up a bit
Joshua got exposed. His fans are retards.
Apart the the complete twats calling AJ fans retards , this does totally spice up the heavyweight division.

That's crap Adam, lots of people thought Andy could do it. Just the noise from AJ fanboys drowned them out. Tony Bellew and Carl Froch must be cutting their wrists about now. Andy has been avoided by most HW's hence his inactivity, so has been stuck with fighting durable gatekeepers. I will say AJ showed alot of grace in defeat. Stats show AJ was not just dropped four times but actually outboxed. Classic example of a very good counter puncher in Joshua, being beaten by a great counter puncher in Ruiz. Now will everyone let go of the body type criticisms of Ruiz - the man can bang and that is real and all that really counts!!!
agreed paul, cant wait to see how mr ruiz's career takes off now, also want to see the rise of dillian as we all know he deserves a shot too
Man can box. Really hope he doesn't go into party mode and trains hard for the rematch.
Top boxers was avoiding Andy cus he's a fat under dog not a good boxer at all beat Aj that didn't really box anybody that was good was avoiding all the top boxers wait until this Andy gets in the ring with a real top boxer t.fury will rip him apart
Punch when they punch. Ruiz key to victory. Barrera was immense at punching with his opponents inbetwen their punches, as was Juan Manuel Marquez

Why is it a shock!? AJ gets wobbled every fight, fights once in 9 months and heâs eddies marketing puppet heâs not a boxer.
remember, people dont really understand boxing and just listen to Eddie... Eddie is the best promoter in the world.... he had everyone believe AJ was something he wasnt by clever match making and clever words.
Eddie will do it again, he'll get everyone believing this was a fluke.
but like you say, this has been coming for a long time... Whyte could have done it a few years back, AJ was dreadful in that fight after round 2... far worse than in this fight.
and an old Wlad should have done this, but he CHOSE not to KO him. why ill never know, but he had AJ gone for many rounds.
AJ is a big unit who can punch, thats it. his chin is terrible and when hurt he doesnt recover for 4 or 5 rounds and is a sitting duck the whole fight, he should have lost before now

Now AJ will really know who his true friends are. Now that the Party is over

@Ray Be kind to others, it goes a long way I totally agree .
AJ lost his aura of invincibilty, that gave him a big advantage in a fight. I think his confidence will also be damaged. He will be fine when surrounded by yes men, but when he enters the ring and takes a shot it will all come flooding back. It will never be the same for him again.
Not the greatest AS fan but he comes across really well here. So honest about the AJ defeat and the controversial scorecards in the KT/JK fights

You don't need to look like a bodybuilder to be a good fighter,...it's heart, spirit a good chin and real ko power,..Ruiz showed it's not how you look, but how you perform...Marciano was a perfect example of this , back in the day , had a primitive style, but was as tough as they come, and could knock an Ox out.....great fighters are made in the ring,..not in a gym
He quit don't care what anyone says delighted for Ruiz doe
Love Adam Smith. Well said. Heavyweight boxing is back...and the heavyweights are boomin...so is boxing! Wilder...take note.
Wilder is going to beat Andy Ruiz Jr by knock out if they ever fight with each other.
Wilder take note?
Aj just got pinged around the ring and confirmed what many many people have been saying for a long time. and wilder should be taking notes from this?
J C My point was...for him not to underestimate any opponent. Use his jab more to setup his money shot. AJ got away from his jab..decided to exchange...and got stopped in the end. I personally, would like to see Wilder box more. Remember...in boxing đ„ it all starts with the jab.

Ruiz wins the rematch. Those 4 knockdowns will be in Joshua's mind before the next fight
I said all along Ruiz is a pitbull and people laughed at me, well i bet that they are not laughing now! AJ will bounce back even stronger because that is what champions do.
Nah.... AJ will lose the rematch....
@Willy wonka- Maybe mate but people wont write of Ruiz again. He should nickname himself the Mexican pitbull haha
@@curveycarnage7401 agreed... lol...
Possibly what the division needs. Andy Ruiz fighting spirit and fast hands won the fight itâs a shame AJ wanted no part of a tear up.
A straight rematch is not a wise decision for Joshua, He should fight Izu Ugonoh as a warm up, AJ struggles with fighters that counter punch with speed on the inside, Izu will prepare him well for Ruiz for the rematch.
It makes sense look at fury after tough fight with wilder he's fighting some low class boxer next
By then all the belts will be spread again.
Lucas Wright Eddie and AJ have no choice. Al Haymon will have all 4 belts
if he doesnt take it, he'll never get it.
they'll make wilder vs Ruiz and wilder will get all the belts. if fury doesnt get to him first.
that'll be bad for AJ.
AJ needs to take the rematch, forget about looking good and just hit and hold his way to a boring victory then get these cash in fights with either fury and Wilder asap. give them 50/50 and get your money.
i think Ruiz can beat him again, but hes gotta take the risk now.
AJ going to rule in USA ? He's just made a fool of himself losing to a cherry pick, Miller must be crying.
This is why the wilder, Fury and Whyte fights never happened .
It was not the night for AJ the XChampion(now) but let's recognize to ANDY RUIZ who did a great job, not only taking the opportunity with 2 1/2 months of preparation, but most importantly his MINDSET and BRAVE HEARTH to show up and face his magnificent opponent. ANDY got knockdown by a strong punch on the 3rd round and he showed us he have the stamina, speed and condition of a real champion, he got up and hurt AJ twice, making him feel the punch and speed and from there, AJ began to show respect to Andy Ruiz.
Much respect for AJ even being defeated he showed class.
AJ had/always has had poor defense when under attack. He puts his gloves around his ears like earmuffs and leaves his chin wide open literally every time. A slick boxer would and will and did expose that. You canât always rely on your KO power.
Deontay Wilder will suffer the same fate like what happened to Anthony Joshua Saturday night. Deontay Wilder doesn't have good foot work and he leaves himself open to getting hit. Tyson Fury was outboxing Deontay Wilder last year up until he got knocked down in the 9th and 12th round. Luis Ortiz hurt Deontay Wilder in the 7th round and nearly knocked him out but the referee gave Wilder extra time to recover which is cheating in my opinion.
Hotters 7060 this isnât Wilder. Joshua got exposed like Frank Bruno
@@Hotters9060 Wilder will ice Ruiz.
Fury on top form beats them all.
AJ was always very easy to hit and gets hurt every time hes hit, he has no chin. once hes hurt he takes many rounds to recover and could have been stopped previously by whyte and wlad.
Adam, stop crying. We've got to do the interview.
I think that a major reason for Aj's performance is the 'yes men' around him. Also his trainer - Rob McCracken - didn't help him in the corner between rounds. AJ was saying 'what should I do?'. McCracken would say 'Use the one-two'. What sort of technical advice is that? Hopefully AJ will regroup and focus now.
Never Ever ket the 0pponent Hold the Belts b4 you fight , them Ever)
Its a curse)
Now you know ) All 0f you know , this 4sure ..
Proven fact ....
Yeah man that was a bad omen
Exactly, that's what a thought; that shouldn't have happened. After saw Ruiz holding the belts, I knew that something would go wrong, but not like that, with a brutal and devastating loss.
Not necessarily "bad luck"... it's proof that AJ has become complacent and comfortable. He's clearly not hungry. Any hungry HW wouldn't let no one touch the belts.
No never ever have a selfie with drake! N then go n say imma break the drake curse! That just makes the curse worse! Hey I'm a poet don't I know it! đ
Man i thought that when it happened that was weird. Ruiz beat the granny out of him. Contrary to the belief that everyone in the uk loves AJ , alot of us always knew he wasnt very good boxer, robotic, stiff. The speed of Ruiz showed just how slow AJ is. Ruiz is a well deserved Champion. Wait for the excuses to come now. One last thing, why did McCraken not go to the presser? The trainer always goes . Just Hearn and AJ sat with a couple of journalist. On a little table. All alone. Weird. Wheres all the razzmatazz? The advertising boards etc
The matchroom empire hanging by a thread
There's onlyyyy oneeee Tyson furyyyyyy
Wilder must be born upset and glad, but mostly the former. This loss lowers Joshua's market value. The big fight between the two is no longer as big, even if Joshua wins the rematch. The title of biggest heavyweight Match - up of the era looks like Fury - Wilder II. First boxing billionaire? Joshua can kiss that dream goodbye.
Imagine what wilder would have done then .
Tyson has always said he is Robotic one dimensional .
Did the Occasion get to him .
I think it shows why Eddie and his team have avoided Tyson and wilder .
But Joshua has to be giving Respect for losing gracefully .
And giving Respect .
Whyte showed the blue print .
Whyte 1000% showed the blue print.
people forget just how HORRENDOUS Joshua was in that fight. once he got tagged he was so so so so bad for many rounds after. worse than he was in this fight. but whyte couldn't follow up, whyte was injured in that fight, and nowhere near the fighter he is today, Whyte was a novice then.
AJ's been hurt many times and let off the hook... most notably in the klitschko fight where wlad CHOSE not to finish him, for whatever reason. he was done in the wlad fight for a few rounds, wlad needed to just throw a few shots and finish him and didnt do it. he says he played it safe thinking he wouldn't recover.... but part of me thinks he didnt wanna KO AJ because he liked him, they were good friends.
Enjoy this everyone as give it a couple of days and the Hearns will be back convincing the zombies that Wilder/Fury are avoiding AJ đđ Sweet sweet karma for Matchroom.
i tell you one person bum squad is avoiding and thats his mandatory dillian, but thats the wbc for you
Anthony gasses out like Connor mcgreggor lol I love it
AJ has like 15 minutes of gas. McGregor has 7 tops.
TYSON WOULD SCHOOL AJ FACTS
most people have known this long before this fight.
its not rocket science.
Being very honest
the saddening part is not that AJ lost, but that at the end you clearly see he gave up.
well played Adam . Nothing but honesty
At 25-1 for a Ruiz win that is one that got away for so many of us who fancied a punt. Smith looks quite happy here as does Hearn. I wonder if they have a cool ÂŁ100,000 on the side for this result.
Let's get one thing straight, Adam, Andy Ruiz didn't con anyone with his nice guy image, he's a very humble and lovely guy who knew that he had what it took to defeat AJ. He had heart and belief and carried out his teams game plan to a T. Well done Andy, fantastic night for you, your family and your team. Totally deserved.
A few uk fighters have lost a slight edge fighting in USA, not sure why?
And the new Amir khan of boxing goes to aj anthony joshua they must have something in common?
Shobir Alim at least khan won most his fights and his first fight in USA
Adam smith said he conned us what a insult
The only con was AJ?
Still weirds me out how people thought aj would walk through ruiz- i'm an aj fan but this was never an easy night. No excuses he was in control and if he kept his head and range he could have finished it after ruiz went down but the pressure of a huge highlight boiled him over he went in wild and its a firefight then and unfortunately at that range the smaller guy is ods on and the first knockdown behind the ear fucked his equilibrium up its like fighting drunk you could see it. He even said weird things in corner. Hats off to ruiz he did great. Hopfully josh bounces back
Everyone finally got to see who was avoiding who
Rob Mcracken Joshua's trainer did say last year that Joshua was not ready for Wilder. Joshua got beat up by the smaller man and basically quit on his feet,I can't see where he goes from here .
Absolute shocker..looked like frank bruno in there....mabe as hagler said...its hard training in silk pymas...CAnt see Aj revenging that defeat...simply cause he looked like a spent fighter...And he certainly fought the wrong fight with ruiz..But congratulations to ruiz...he shocked the world...
AJ has looked like this a few times before. but the opponents have let him off and not finished him and people are quick to forget.
AJ has looked worse than this in his fights with Whyte and Klitschko.
It was Jack Dempsey who said it's hard training in silk underwear. Not Hagler
I think it will be a total different Joshua in the rematch, but will he win the titles back, i don't know.
AJ Needs to develop that fear factor...study how Tyson and other heavyweights get that fear factor established!!! No one fears him
He looks like he wants to cry, extremely pissed off
Have you ever heard him commentate. He like on coke all the time when commentating lol. His probably knackered as fuck
some fine wines dont travel too good..i expect aj to reverse the decision at wembley if they accept it..maybe they dont want the rematch..who knows..but aj didnt look right..
he looked he same as hes always looked. watch the whyte fight from the end of round 2 till round 7... rewatch the wlad fight and forget the hype about Wlad being better than ever... wlad was 2 years out the ring, 41 years old and finished.
AJ was far worse in those 2 fights than this one and people forget... but those guys both let him off when they had AJ finished. all Ruiz did was let his hands go when he had him finished... whyte and klitschko would have finished AJ this exact same way.
Even ruiz started letting AJ off in the 4th.... AJ was finished and Ruiz just stood and did nothing... i thought, here we go again.
but he caught him again and stepped it up in the rounds after
I remember Wladimir Klitchko taking a beating like this from Corey sanders and came back even stronger...
And the NEWWW Heavyweight Champion...
They say aj scared to come to America and fight. Now I see
Eddie Hearn doesnât think legacy for Joshua just pennies leave matchroom

Katy actually landed the other girl hit gloves n arms n wind all night n didn't land until the last few rounds hence why Katy won the fight
I donât understand this whole narrative of AJ being done because of 1 loss.
You guy must have loads of expectations from him or just hypocrisy.
The best fighters loss in their era.
moz he was down 4 times and got up 4 times. The ref stopped it as he saw something in AJs eyes non of us could see. This is one of the best refs in the world. He was also clearly concussed and never fully recovered
Whatever you want to say about Adam Smith at least heâs honest
He thought he would break into the American dream, only he got broke. I think he should have gone to America a couple of months before to adjust but not taking anything away from Ruiz, he was awesome on the night.
Joshua was outboxed, outmanoeuvered, outpunched, outskilled by Ruiz. That was a moral and caracter demolition job by Ruiz. There was no lucky punch thing in there. So joshua might never be the same again. R.I.P Joshua. And K Taylor lost badly the fight. She was destroyed too...Josh Taylor was beaten too ! Horrible night for UK.
Problem is theyâve over paid Aj his whole career heâs got millions in the bank heâs got no hunger anymore, and if I was Aj Iâd retire because he looses the rematch, and wilder puts him to sleep đŽ
And fury beats them all
Lennox Lewis was fucking Canadian he's shown he's not British the way he speaks of AJ

No way is as big as that defo Asimov Lewis.. Tyson was ranked way higher then a AJ. Anthony been hurt by loads before lol
AJ VS DAVID PRICE
MAKE IT HAPPEN.
TALE OF THE CHINS
AJ's chin is decent it was the shots to the temple that fucked him up. David Price however... if Klitschko hit him he'd die. If Whyte hit him he'd die. Hell Price would get KO'ed by welterweight Josh Kelly đ€Ł
Before the fight AJ was rattled by the criticism from Fury and Wilder and others for him not facing them, in interviews he looked unhappy when confronted with those questions. There is no doubt that he looked past Ruiz and thought he could blast him out. He underestimated him and didn't go into recovery mode when he was in trouble. He tried to punch his way out of trouble without grappling or pacing himself. The difference between him and Wlad is Wlad would have held on for dear life until he recovered, AJ didn't do that.
this was the same AJ. lets not make excuses.
Whyte had him in this mess years ago and didnt capitalise. Wlad had AJ easily beat and for some suspicious reason didnt finish him when my nan could have finished him at that point.
this has been coming for a while. lets not pretend its because he was upset or rattled
