That little button is actually made for you to take out the D ring we don’t have to push down on the actual metal part just push down on the button and then we should be able to come out

I have one of those lightsaber belt clips from star wars galaxy's edge at Disney's Hollywood studios in Disney world. I bought one a year ago and I test it on my lightsaber with a d ring from ultrasabers and it was terrific. I really love it. It's kinda like in the star wars movies that you're like a jedi with your lightsaber hanging on your belt attached to your belt clip.
It's great, I use with my lightsaber in my Shozen Ren vlogs in Batuu.
I made one for .30. it interfaces with D-ring and Covertech and ANY belt. you can run and jump with it and the lightsaber won't come out. You can 3D print it yourself

I'm planning on getting this for my lightsaber that I built at Savi's Workshop 2 weeks ago.
The Anikin/Rey lights saber is a legacy lightsaber. It says "Skywalker Lightsaber Legacy Lightsaber" on the box and in the instruction manual. They just came back in stock they day I was at the park 6/7/2022.
3 year old video that just saved my life. Thought I blew though 17 dollars to get this for my Vader hilt... so glad I watched this video. 10/10

So I’ve tried for a long time to figure out and I can never find anything online for it; Is Covertec a real word that’s part of Star Wars canon to refer to the wheel system or is it made up by those third party companies to have a name for it rather than just calling it a wheel clip or something? Where does the name originate from?
Can it work with the reforged skywalker since it has no black circle to go into the hole or D ring

You don't need to press the buttons to put in the covertech. Just to take it out. Also with the d ring you don't need to press the button to flip it down or put the d ring in

The belt clip is sold separately from a Savi's Workshop lightsaber. You've have to get it at Dok-Ondars.
How much is it though?
I have the belt clip and a savi’s lightsaber. Do I need to buy a Rey legacy another one? Or do I take the blade out of my savi’s one?
Savi's Workshop sabers and legacy lightsabers use the same blade.

I know it’s been a year, but I’m gonna say they probably don’t. Most Force FX lightsabers don’t even have a removable blade.

I don’t understand the clips. So you have to take out the glow shaft to be able to put it on your belt. So your lugging around a heavy ass hilt with no way to actually use it or show how it works
Why did she say Ray's saber is NOT a legacy saber? Isnt it tho? That's how the categorized it at Disney Galaxy's Edge on the show room floor.

The little bubble above the chrome clip, is the release button for the d-ring. Did she even know that??
You can move the clip without pressing the button. The button is used to open the clip so that it would be easy to take your lightsaber off your belt. I would know because I have one.
One correction. That's not Rey's lightsaber. It's Anakin/Luke's. Maybe before the end of IX Rey will actually do something to earn a lightsaber of her own as a character.

It’s legally Rey’s actually, there’s a video explaining why it’s hers just look up on CZcams “who is the owner of Rey’s lightsaber” and it should pop up but I agree Rey doesn’t deserve the lightsaber. She’s just a random girl with a lightsaber who hasn’t even had training at all with it and yet she’s already facing down Sith and fighting. I know she’s “you know who’s” granddaughter but that doesn’t explain how she is just randomly skilled with a lightsaber.
I think Disney sells it as "Rey's Lightsaber".

cohen wilson well the style is what makes it reys. Notice how the middle is a plain metal and there isn’t a red button. They would sell it as anakins if it was his style
The version she showed is called Rey’s saber. It says so on the box. It was exclusively sold at Disney Parks.

no no no no. the black button does NOT need to pressed down to move it! its only pressed down to release the lever to pull the D ring out! GEEZ! EXAMINE WHAT YOU BUY!
